How long will it take for my tool to be made?

Gerber Custom orders take 12-15 business days to create and process. Delivery times will vary depending on your chosen shipping method and location.

If you placed an order with a component that is currently out of stock, expect up to an additional 2 weeks for build and processing. A member of the Gerber Customer Experience team will contact you if build times exceed normal processing time.

How do I track the status of my Gerber Custom Tool?

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email. We will send you a confirmation email once your product has shipped with tracking information.

What is your Return, exchange and cancel policy?

Like a tattoo, your new custom creation is permanent. Custom creations are one-of-a-kind, so returns and exchanges are not available. Prior to purchase, double-check your design and spelling for accuracy.

All Custom products are covered by the Gerber Guarantee. Gerber products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer owns the product. If you need to report a quality or performance issue, please submit a warranty request.

Can I change or cancel my Custom order?

Before submitting your order, please double check your design and spelling for accuracy. If you find any issues with your order, contact us right away by getting in touch with our Customer Service team. Contact information can be found here. The time window between placing an order and production is small, so we can't guarantee we can change or cancel your order before it is processed.

What is restricted from adding to my knife?

Gerber moderates all text and reserves the right to reject and cancel orders containing profane or offensive phrases. If you knife violates Gerber’s policy, a member of the Customer Experience team will contact you about your order.

Will my creation look like the rendering on screen? 

The very talented team of designers have done their best to ensure your final product will look like it does on screen. However, due to material and device variance, the final appearance may differ slightly from what appears on screen. 

Copper Handles: The online images are for reference only and the finished product will have variances in Tone/Patina from knife to knife for a truly custom finish. The handles will continue to acquire a warm patina with age.
