To meet specific regulations requiring 2-handed opening of knives in the U.S. and globally, Gerber has modified the iconic Paraframe for this particular version by replacing its dual thumbstuds with an easily accessible nail nick. All other features of the original Paraframe fine edge folder remain unchanged.

The nicely articulated clip point of the Paraframe’s fine edge blade functions in slicing through tape, boxes, and even manages emergency food prep. With its hardy stainless steel blade, this no-frills folder can take a beating in a crisis and get the job done without hassle. Its super-solid stainless steel handle will tolerate intense use while preventing strain with the ergonomic, vented structure, beautifully tailored to sit within the palm while positioning a thumb along the hilt.

With 2-handed opening using the well placed nail nick, this Paraframe makes it through specific regulations hurdles. Open the frame locking folder and engage this simple, lightweight knife that holds its edge and withstands heavy application. The Paraframe’s lithe shape allows seamless securing to a pocket interior with its stainless pocket clip.

Picked this up last weekend. I'm female and this is perfect in my pants pocket! Just the right length so it doesn't count into my leg when I bend down. Lightweight, like the gun metal color. Now just need to see if the blade stays sharp. I cut a lot of cardboard and fibre cabling.....

Really good looking knife, perfect fit for medium sized hands, opens and closes smoothly and deliberately usnig both hands. The bead blasting is even and attractive, frame lock is sturdy, well engineered, and easy to use. One con - the blade was not sharp right out of the packaging, needed to be sharpened by me, the end user. This is the only knife in my working collection that I can say this about, and it appears to be no fluke, given reviews on oher sites. I like the shape and style, but knives are supposed to be sharp enough to cut, and sad to say, this one was not. Info on blade steel and Rc-scale hardness would have been important too, but was left out of description. All that being said, once sharpened, this will become one of my EDC rotation knives. The blade shape, handle ergonomics and safety of the frame lock won me over.
