Just pry out the rubber gasket in the side opposite the bottle opener. Pull until the gasket rotates out about 90 degrees and the batteries are revealed. Pull out the batteries, replace them with new ones and repeat the steps above in reverse.

Batteries are easy to change. Take a key. Push on the rubber from the bottle opener opening. Grab the rubber from the other side and rotate using the on off switch as the axis. The rubber peels like a banana exposing the two batteries.

use a small screwdriver to pry the rubber housing out of the bolster from the top (opposite side from the lid-lifter) adjacent to the strap... entire rubber housing rotates out, exposing the battery - a 3Cr13...

Great, handy little light. My only criticism is the batteries are difficult to replace. I would think there would be some instructions for changing the batteries on the website but I couldn't find them.

Very bright light! went into a large dark room and lit up the entire area, unlike most small lights like this that only light up things within 1 ft. of your face. Bottle opener has metal on the edges, but rubber on the interior of the bottle opener, so the bottle top can be gripped but the rubber won't be damaged. Overall 5/5 for the size, weight, heavy-dutiness, and brightness.

I just got mine a few days ago. It is a great little accessory. Bright light, small enough to hang it on a zipper. It's great!
Easy to replace batteries by just pushing the rubber bit from underneath the metal shell.

It would have been great if they also added the small blade from the GDC Zip Blade and make it a 3 in 1 accessory.

Just got mine the other day. Nice bright light. Haven't tried the bottle opener yet. Compact enough to put on a key chain. My only complaint is that I was expecting a switch on it. Light only stays on when you press the button. Overall perfect for keeping in your pocket or zipper, keys.
