All I can say is wow what a tool. I have used this for years on everything from rabbits to moose and nothing does a better job than this. You will never use a standard gut hook again. Great for longer hair game, like moose and bears.

I first encountered this knife when one of my sons showed up with it for pronghorn hunting. All 3 of us used the knife and quickly became believers. The name E-Z-Open is good but as we used the knife and saw how it opened the game it was as if there was a zipper in the hide. It was effortless and provided a safe clean cut that greatly reduced our processing time. Now all 3 of us have a "Zipper" in our hunt packs.

My hunting partner has one and loves it, does a great job. I am amazed last time I was on this site this knife was only $28.00

I was recently contracted to make 60 leather backpacks and the EZ Open was hands down the most useful tool in my arsenal. Not my surger, not my shears or scissors, not even thimbles and punches but this. Hammered out two full packs a day for a month and finished the contract 19 days ahead of schedule.
