This is without question the best carving blade on the market. I've used this on a muley and a elk in the last two months and it will never leave my pack. Absolutely incredible knife, and way better than the old buck I was using last year. Lighter, grippy, and easy to find. Really nice work gerber.

The size is awesome for all field prep as well as butchering. The longer blade makes the work go faster and produces clean smooth cuts when butchering in the field. The blunt tip is perfect for skinning or field dressing and the ability to switch the blades out for different jobs is convenient. I also found this knife is awesome for filleting fish as well. I have used it on multiple trips and found that the longer blade knife cuts down processing time compared to a shorter blade. It is really easy to swap out the blade as well as clean the knife. Blades are exreamly sharp and stay sharp to process a whole animal.
