I'm sorry to hear that you are out of stock . I bought one of these knives several years ago; this week I have had to dress out three deer. I started on the first deer using several knives and found that my Gerber was truly handy. When I did the second deer I used the Gerber more and the other knives less. When I did the did the third I used the Gerber for almost the whole deer. This small knife has been very useful. I am so impressed with it, that I am looking to obtain one for a friend of mine who was also impressed with the speed I was able to skin the last deer. He had a similar type knife with a gut hook but it did not give me the agility needed and I found that type of knife, even though sufficient, not satisfactory for a quick and clean deer dressing.
