LIGHTWEIGHT PERFORMANCE | HEAVY HITTING MATERIALS
Your everyday carry just got the ultimate upgrade. The best-in-class 420HC American steel blade ensures you the ability to tackle any task your day brings. The robust glass-filled nylon handle is wrapped in a textured rubber overmold, giving you the confidence to operate in the roughest of conditions. The finely machined nail nick offers ease of opening, complimenting the slim profile that fits perfectly in your pocket. The US1 elevates the average pocket knife, delivering a powerful punch in a one ounce package.
STRUCTURAL STABILITY | DEPENDABLE GRIP
An ergonomic handle design featuring a prominent finger choil promises solid application and comfortable ease of use. The lock-back structure keeps the knife safely open while in use and keeps your attention where it should be, on the task at hand. The US1 is the new generation of your favorite pocket knife, sure to be your go-to blade for years to come.
I won this knife along with a mini MagLite at an outdoors event called Buck Frenzy in central Minnesota. The US has been a nice knife so far. I like this locking mechanism and the thin profile of the whole knife. There is a hitch at 90° when opening and closing the knife. I don't know what that is for. The US is oddly enjoyable to carry as an everyday pocket knife.
Gerber does an amazin job with their heat treat, so the 420HC blade holds a good edge for a long time, I like the design, style, and materials used, the handle feels really good, soft and grippy (that’s what she said..) everythin is very precise, Great job Gerber!! I’m always happy to support my country and a company that shows American quality and ingenuity!!!!
Got this in a Maglite/Knife Combo set for 14.99 USD. Can't beat that. I work in an office environment, so to have a lightweight EDC that slips into my pocket with near invisibility is ideal for my environment. Its sharp, durable, and serves its purpose well.
Just buying this knife in a adventure shop near my house, in Belgium..
Nice blade, compact design, light and feeling durable!
5 stars.
I got this knife for $3.50 on clearance at Walmart. Can't beat it for the price and a great everyday carry knife.
Great knife! I got this knife and i haven’t found a problem yet! Can beat a U.S. made knife that won’t let you down!
Got my US1 at Walmart for just $13 and instantly liked it. Very ergonomic and comfortable for how small it is. Who else puts functional, useful SPINE GIMPING on a knife that only costs $13?! Like all of my other Gerber folders it came sharp enough to shave off my arm hair right out of the packaging. My dad liked it so much I went back the same day and got another one for him. No complaints here. It's a simple, well-made lockback from the USA that's the perfect non-scary size for use in a public place or office environment where you might scare the sheeple. Go get one.
The US1 is working well as my EDC in fact it works aswell as my Commuter but its smaller in the pocket. I reccomend it also its USA made thats a favorite.
First time in a while buying a new knife, good feel and to the grip and excellent weight for the size. The lock is solid so that's a definite plus. The edge on my blade seems a bit rough for a new blade but easy enough to fix with a good sharpening stone. Over all a nice blade for a quick Every Day Carry, and defiantly one I'll keep at the ready.
Glad to see Gerber getting back to making knives here in the USA. I recently bought this new and have been really happy with the fit/finish and sharpness of the blade. Jimping on the spine is a nice touch too. It's easy to carry and well built.
Owned dozens of pocket knives over the last 35 years or so. Many Gerbers, many not. Lock blades, non-lock. Too small, too large. Fine edge and serrated (don't like 'em at all) Only one previous knife was ever considered "perfect" (EZ Out Jr with fine blade). This is a great knife. Light weight. Lock-back. Great blade length. Made in the USA. And non-serrated!! Thank you.
