MEET GERBER
For knife users who carry every day, compact knives are often the preferred tool of choice. A smaller profile takes up less space in the pocket and draws less attention when pulled out for use. The Kettlebell folder features a rugged 7Cr17MoV blade, sturdy frame lock, and coined aluminum handle that is textured for secure grip.

I love this little knife. Great 4 finger grip, small stout blade and nice aesthetics. Mine has been flawless. Opens smooth and locks up secure. Mine opened once when drawing it from my pocket but I'm 99% positive it was because the thumbstud got caught on a loose thread on my pocket. I would love to see it in a higher end steel butl for 20 something bucks it's one of the best knife deals out there.
Really like the knife; but as far as closing the knife its really hard. I have to tap the top of the blade while pushing in on the lock.
I have another Gerber with the same type of lock and it closes with easy.
Overall i really like Gerber knives. Keep up the great work.
Had to loosen the torx bits to open the knife.
I sliced my hand open trying to get the knife open right after taking it out of the package because it was way too tight. Couldn't get the knife closed because the stop was too strong to move by hand. I had to pry the stop away from the blade with a flathead screwdriver just to get it closed which caused gouges and ugly dents in the knife.
Now after just a few uses, it's too dull to even cut through paper.
No knife sharpening places can get it sharp again because the angle is too extreme.
I have wrote a long review twice now. The first was taken down, I am sure, because of how extreme my opinion was. Not just mine but at least 3 other negative posts have been taken down. Seems that the monitor "Cherry Picks" the reviews. If I remember correctly almost every post, if not every post, was negative and for the same reason. Great looking knife but opening and closing the blade is extremely tight and there is not an easy fix. You need 2 torque bits (one on each side) otherwise using one will only spin both accomplishing nothing. I have not tried this out yet (need to buy the extra bit and some blue Loctite. You need to adjust both sides equal keeping the blade centered between the inner sides of the frame loosening but not too much that the blade has play. More bad news. In a post that was taken down it was noted that in production they must have used red Loctite. Good luck. Cool knife but non functional. I have had no problem with any other Gerber products and I have had a fair number.
I love the feel and shape of the knife but with the clip in the pocket the tip of the blade points up and does open up in pocket and I have cut my self this way.
Solid knife for edc and mist utilitarian tasks. Keep the blade oiled or you'll find rust spots. Overall, great knife for the price. Maybe a dlc coating on future models would help with the rust.
Love the product! To good of a knife for the price to go into detail on here... Get one and you will understand
