MEET GERBER
With an innovative design that shields the cutting edge, this tool serves its purpose in emergency situations. The 420HC steel hook knife cuts through anything, the molded rubber grip and finger hole add stability, and a glass breaker wastes no time.

Hanging up side down and held in with a seat belt or some other tough nylon strapping? No worries. Cutting through the webbing will be like using a hot knife on soft butter. Simple as that. And no need to worry about cuts or punctures were you don't want them. The design shields the cutting edge. Protecting delicate surfaces.
This knife is the best line cutter for kitesurfing on the market. However, it rusts in the salt water, even if it's cleaned after use. If you added this knife to the Saltwater Series it would make waves in the kite community as many of the line knifes out there have actually failed in a rescue situation.
I've had two of these on my duty belt and took them into the field. The friction sheath is so shoddy I've lost them both. The tool itself is excellent and I would honestly buy it again in a heartbeat...if it had a different sheath
Being a soldier in the 10th Mountain division this strap cutter is pretty awesome. It's light and easy to put a kit. Cuts straps, 550 cord, and just about anything that needs opening. Hell it'll cut through boots. I recommend this tool to everyone, soldier or civilian.
Never used for a seat belt. Used to cut MREs and almost cut the end of my finger off lol. then used it to cut the tape to patch my self up. over the years have found it to hold an edge cut what I needed when I couldn't get to a knife cause I keep it on my kit. I can say it works for more then what it is intended for. guys will use them.
