Purchased this knife last year, after doing my research and my dislike for gut hooks I decided that this ez open system was worth a shot. I am an avid hunter and have field dressed Elk, Moose, and many deer with this knife. It is an absolutely fantastic tool. If I were to ever loose this knife it would be replaced imedieatley!!

The knife was a gift. Boy what a gift! It is now my #1 go to knife. I broke the blade taking out a bull elk's ivory while hunting in Montana. I am now replacing the Life Time Warranty blade for good reason. I want my #1 blade back in my hands. We were blessed to harvest many elk this year and sad the blade broke. We have work to do and Gerber has a nice product. Glad to have it on my side. Thx. Mark
