MEET GERBER
Details:
Not everyone can have a firm grip on life. But just about anyone can have a firm grip on their knife. That is, if they happen to be the owner of a Gator II Folder: The latest, most ergonomically advanced version yet of Gerber's famous thermoplastic grip technology.
These remarkable grips fit in the hand so precisely, so comfortably, you'll be looking for something to cut. Plus, the built-in thumb rests combine with the notched spine grips for maximum control and agility. The stainless steel blade opens effortlessly with one hand, thanks to the strategically-located thumb hole.
The accompanying sheath is constructed of thermoformed ballistic nylon, and accommodates the optional gut hook. But what about the alligator skin texturing on the handle? Heck, we just threw that in to make sure you never lose your grip.
I own many knives. The Gerber Gator with Gut Hook are fantastic knives.
Both the blade and gut hook hold an edge as good or better than anything I own.
The only comparison I have in my collection are hand made knives.
This is a fantastic knife for skining/caping/dressing out whitetail deer.
I like my Gerber knives, I have a gator gut hook that has been used on 4 deer without touch up. It takes an edge better and holds it better than any other knife I own, plus they are made in the USA, and that's why I buy them.
your gut hook (two finger style) is useless. It broke inhalf while I was zippering a large buck that my grand daughter killed his morning. You need better products thn this as I had to fall back on 1969 knife that I still carry. Good thing I had it!
I have had this knife for a couple weeks and the tip of the gutter broke off. Is that covered by the warranty?
