MEET GERBER
Details:
Not everyone can have a firm grip on life. But just about anyone can have a firm grip on their knife. That is, if they happen to be the owner of a Gator II Folder: The latest, most ergonomically advanced version yet of Gerber's famous thermoplastic grip technology. These remarkable grips fit in the hand so precisely, so comfortably, you'll be looking for something to cut. Plus, the built-in thumb rests combine with the notched spine grips for maximum control and agility. The stainless steel blade opens effortlessly with one hand, thanks to the strategically-located thumb hole. The accompanying sheath is constructed of thermoformed ballistic nylon, and accommodates the optional gut hook. But what about the alligator skin texture on the handle? Heck, we just threw that in to make sure you never lose your grip.
I remember growing up as a young kid and seeing my uncle carry his Gator on his side. He had it for as long as I can remember. He used that knife for everything! When my uncle passed away my dad got his knife. I had always wanted one just like it. As soon as I was old enough to buy one, I did. That was well over 15yrs ago. My ol' knife still looks brand new despite the fact that I use it for everything. During fishing season it's in my drybox. During hunting season it's in my backpack. During camping season it's on my side because I use it constantly (I'm a tent camper). I wouldn't trade my ol' knife for anything. Thank you Gerber for making such a superb knife. I sure wish you would bring this model back because now MY nephew wants one just like mine. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
i ride a horse from state to state . this one knife i eat with , trim trees , trim my horses feet and any thing else u can think of under the sun. sure wish they would bring it back.
As a little kid I had always wanted one of these. I bought it with Holliday money when I was twelve. And now, seven years and five months later, it was stolen. It went everywhere with me (even places its not supposed to like school & stuff). So I wanted to buy another but, they're discontinued. Gerber, help me out please.
