The design and engineering of the Gerber Double Bolster Stag pocket folder grew from the idea to create a knife with classic proportions while incorporating modern convenience. With its genuine stag handle and large polished clip point blade, the 2.5” Double Bolster Stag folder echoes knife-making hallmarks and adds the muscle required for modern day use.
TRADITION UPDATED FOR MODERN USE
This iconic folder contains the traditional mirror-polished clip point, its blade incorporating a locking element fortifying it with a strength and toughness the original folding knives lacked. A locking blade means it opens for immediate utility directly from the pocket, making this both an attractive and functional knife to be handed down. Just as stag-handled pocket knives have been passed along for generations, this knife can be given with the solid inclusion of its modern structure and technologically advanced steel.
CLASSIC ATTRIBUTES WITH NEW STRENGTH
Stag applied to the handle of the Gerber 2.5” Double Bolster Stag pocket knife creates a link to the history of great pocket knives, with a filigree etching further cementing the link. The liner in the knife’s interior is bronze for strength as well as beauty that will only increase with age. A velveteen gift bag is supplied with the 2.6 ounce folder, making this knife an attractive gift choice during holidays.
This has been my edc for around 5 or 6 years. It sharpens up nicely and it looks great. I can easily breakdown boxes, or open them for that matter, and it even works as a solid paring knife in a pinch. It's feels good to use and it slips in my pocket and disappears until I need it. I would totally recommend tracking one down.
I purchased this for my brother and later one for myself. I can see why he liked it so much. Looks cool, cuts well. Easily the best knife I have owned
Talk about a win! I found this knife in my couch roughly two years ago after a house pary. Best damn knife anyone could ever find. Looks Badass, Cuts like a champ, and opens nicely. I would buy ten of these if I knew It wouldn't last. But it will! and thats why I would recommend buying this knife!
This is my favorite everyday use knife. It's a classy looking knife and reminds me of a pocket knife my grandfather carried. The bag is also a nice touch it keeps the knife protected when I carry it with me. This is a knife I will pass on to my son Another great knife.
Got this beautiful knife foe Christmass from my wife. knife was sharp enough to shave with and looks like high quality just wish it was made in U.S.A.
This is one of the better built Gerber knives.
The background for the Fake engraving is not black but gold in color. The pins are steel and not brass as shown. Overall it's a pretty sturdy little knife.
I received this beautiful knife from my daughter for Christmas. I have always heard how great Gerber knives are from various individuals including my father. I was excited my daughter chose a Gerber and was eager to carry the knife in my pocket for everyday use. I used the knife for peeling fruit and opening feed bags. One day i noticed the knife blade getting dull and began to hone the blade and realized the edge had been chipped in numerous spots. The knife is basically ruined after about 3 months of use. Did i get a bad batch of steel or what? Right now unimpressed with the quality of my knife. Am considering sending knife in for warranty hopefully it will be honored.
Over the years I have had many different. My nephew gave me this one for my 66th birthday. pocket knives. It is a nice looking knife, the Stag handle is a nice touch. Gerber quality is evident thought. It came fairly sharp but I ran it over my old Arkansas Stone a few time to bring it to razor sharpness. All in All a very nice knife.
This is a beautiful knife. I originally purchased it to be the knife I kept packed in my check-bag for travel, but ended up liking it so much I put it on display and purchased a more utilitarian travel knife. Comes sharp out of the package.
