I'm sorry to hear that you are out of stock . I bought one of these knives several years ago; this week I have had to dress out three deer. I started on the first deer using several knives and found that my Gerber was truly handy. When I did the second deer I used the Gerber more and the other knives less. When I did the did the third I used the Gerber for almost the whole deer. This small knife has been very useful. I am so impressed with it, that I am looking to obtain one for a friend of mine who was also impressed with the speed I was able to skin the last deer. He had a similar type knife with a gut hook but it did not give me the agility needed and I found that type of knife, even though sufficient, not satisfactory for a quick and clean deer dressing.
I had high hope for this knife combo, but was quite disappointed in the knife. Did not make it through one deer skinning. Ended up switching to another knife to finish the job.
The gut hook worked great though so I won't rate this knife a one star
