Gerber built the Combat Fixed Blade to be tough, indestructible and reliable for everyday use in the field. A full-tang, stainless steel knife with a 154CM high carbon steel tanto blade for cutting, slicing, and scraping, the lower portion of the blade is serrated. The handle has a rubberized grip and a blunt pommel. It comes with a molded plastic sheath for multiple carry options on a belt or a MOLLE compatible vest. The CFB is an indispensable daily-use knife for every type of soldier.

Love the knife. Always on the hip when underway, especially in SAR cases and available to cut the toughest towline in an emergency.
Wish the sheath restraining clip was not as fragile.
Star 5 is available is the sheath adjustment is in the works.

I love this knife I've always had a cheap pocket knife or a decent hand me down fixed blade. But this is my first real knife I love it I use it to pry some stuff and dig with it get dull a little quickly. But not too bad, I highly recommend this knife I LOVE IT.

This is the best knife that I have owned. I have used it for everything. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is the sheath. The sheath is made to attach to a belt, so when attached to molle gear, the belt attachment just hangs there.

Loved this Knife, Performed very well It was like A hot blade through butter During VBSS While Underway I lost my footing and It now Belongs to the SEA while i had it it was a great knife i Deeply Recommend this Blade to any first responder of fellow Brother in Arms :)

I won this knife during a competition back in 2008 and consider it the best knife I've ever used. Extremely durable, I used this knife for everything from prying open doors and crates to cutting straps and ropes in a pinch. After everything, it was left undamaged, needing only to be sharpened. Unfortunately, I had this knife stolen from my home, but I am definitely planning to get another. I would recommend this knife to anyone with a steady use for it.

This is the best tactical knife on the market. the soft part of the sheath is useless, but if you slide the plastic part behind a mag pouch you are golden

beautiful knife and sheath cant wait to own one but not for that price it is still a knife , unless they found a way to make it shoot .
