I pick this knife up at a Canadian Tire near my work this past summer, when i first got in didn't think very highly of it. It was very difficult to open and close. If I were writing this review on the first day of owning this knife i would most likely agree with M@st3r_Kutt3r's review. But now that I've got used to it, I think its really good for the money. Some knives take longer to break in than other, this is one of those knives that takes a bit longer. But once this knife is broken in its not half bad. Doesn't hurt that it all steel construction. I don't hard use my knives, but this is one that could definitely handle a lot of abuse, despite its size.
the Gerber name on a China made knife. You can't be proud of a China made knife in America.
It takes way too much effort to get the blade closed. I can barely push in the lock lever to make it close.
Not sure why Gerber is letting China do these knives. I mean I can buy cheap China knives everywhere now.
The only difference with this one is they Put
I got China knifes that are way cheaper and nicer than this Gerber branded one. But I like supporting my Country and being proud of the products. I will not buy another Gerber now. Huge disappointment in the craftsmanship and quality from this company.
