MEET GERBER
The same saw types as the Exchange-A-Blade Saw, yet this version features the iconic Gator Grip on the handle for superior grip and comfort. The high carbon stainless steel blade channel and improved blade exchange mechanism make for a seamless transition.
Details:
We had the big idea some time ago: Craft a handsaw with interchangeable blades and a handle wrapped in our famous Gator texture. But now we've upgraded the concept to be stronger than ever. With beefier construction and an improved blade exchange mechanism. Our saw blades are made of premium stainless steel, as is the blade channel. Whether you're using the coarse blade for normal wood cutting or the fine blade for hardwood and big game bones, you're doing 1/3 less work when compared to other saws. The soft rubber overmold Gator grip is a case study in how to make a saw easy to hold and effortless to use.
Great saw, a few years of steady use in BC backcountry but lost the bolt the other day. Where can you find replacement bolts ?
I've had this saw for going on 10 years. I absolutely love it, however after many uses on elk, deer, trees etc. I need new blades and I can't find replacement blades for it. My bone saw blade is dull so I have been using the wood blade and it is missing several teeth as a result.
I bought this saw for its robustness after breaking several cheap folding saws. I am impressed with the quality of the saw but not the blade. I cannot saw through anything with a diameter of more than 1.5". The blade binds and you just cannot cut with it. The country I live/hunt in is pretty much all softwood too. I will try replacing the blade and if that doesn't work it's going in the garbage.
I got this today and I am quite pleased with it. I used it to trim a troublesome bush. It cut easily all of the tree limbs and branches including a couple that were 3.5 inches in diameter. It did the job easily that is all anyone would want.
