These are the best lopper-pruners I have ever had in the field. Creating a blind with limbs using a standard set of pruners works well, but does not cut the larger limbs needed. The folding loppers will cut up to a 1 11/2 inch thick branch. They fold nicely to carry in your day pack without adding too much extra weight. My hunting buddies are always borrowing them, and so I'm the last to get set up in the field. Wish Gerber would re-stock them so I can get my buddies there own. Great product.
