I would love to be able to use this over priced flashlight however I can’t. Ironically enough because I can’t figure out how to open it to put batteries in it. The diagram does not state where the opening is and with it being water proof all the seams are extremely tight. I contacted customer service who told me “You twist the end away from the button.“ I asked for clarification if they meant the end that contains the bulb (since that is on the opposite end as the button) and receive no response whatsoever. So after horrible customer service communication and not actually getting to operate the light I will be throwing away this gift. Don’t ware you money. Gerber also lost a customer because of their horrendous customer service.

Great light. Solid build quality, comfortable to hold in many grips and provides plenty of illumination with a far reaching and wide beam. Only complaint is the red light, beam is divided into irregular shapes leaving some spots dark. Without this definetly a 5 star light.
