I had this knife and absolutely loved it. About a week or so ago I lost it or it was stolen from me (leaning towards stolen because I'd have found it by now if I misplaced it).
In any case I want to buy another. Why, for the love of god, was such an awesome knife discontinued?

I have owned this knife for almost 10 years. I have abused this blade in almost every way. It has been used as a hammer, it has cut wire, it has been dropped from 30 feet onto concrete, gutted elk, and put away wet. It shows its years, but works as good as the day I got it. I love this knife.

Love this knife, Has been one of the better knifes I own.
Currently sent in for a warranty repair on the blade. It is an unusual problem that I have not seen happen to any of their other products I own.
bought this knife not knowing what to expect and i was surprised awesome knife.strong ,sturdy feels great in the hand.super shape .great trekin knife.
My favorite knife until I tried to use it. Last I used it, I tried to baton a small piece of Bradford pear, an extremely soft and pliable wood. Took a lot of force to get anywhere. After the first inch into the wood, a section of the steel split off. Now it looks like it has one of those hook blades.
Very good sturdy knife comes very sharp out of the package but doesn't hold an edge very well but other than that this is a very good knife
This is a great knife, i absolutely love it. I would highly recommend it to anyone. cheap is sometimes better than pricey knives. It is very durable too.

Good knife but got dull very quickly
THE REASIN JUNK'S PIN FELL OUT YOU NEED A TOOL TO TIGHTEN UP THE SCREWS THAT CAME FROM CHINA GO TO HARBOR FRIEGHT TO THE TOOL KIT. I FIXED MY PARAFRAME 2 WITH THE TOOL KIT AND I STILL HAVE IT AND THE PIN NEVER FELL OUT
Unfortunately, I bought that knife in a little island and it was the only one they had.. I was expecting something a little bit bigger (like the Myth Folding, the Freeman or the Metolius Folder). Nevertheless, it is quite reliable, the edge is quite sharp but will need to be sharpened quite often. Good deal for the prize.
I bought this knife, and I have to say, I was very excited to get my hands on it. I took it on a canoe trip, used it no more than a few times and it worked great. It sat for about 2 months on my dresser, and when I went to grab it for another weekend excursion, the locking pin fell out of the handle and the blade hung loosely from the pivot point. Gerber apologized and replaced it. HOWEVER, my replacement knife was taken on a hunting trip, NOT used, then sat on my dresser for a month. I grabbed it for another weekend trip, and again, the locking pin fell out and again, the blade hung loosely. I will not recommend this knife to anyone, and I will not purchase another folder from Gerber nor recommend that anyone do. Since they offered me credit, I will look at a fixed blade, but after that, I will shop elsewhere.
oh/this is neccesary for each hunter in world and its a good friend for us
GREAT STRONG KNIFE...edge has held very well...easy to maintain and know it can handle alot more i have allready thrown at it...only negitive is that i have started to notice small amounts of rust in the blade but is noting that should stop u from buying this knife...owned mine for over 6 months and i have never regeted it...hope this helped
Great design, thin, strong like it says. Would gladly pay ~$10 more for a blade that holds a better edge though.

i dont own this knife but i do own a gerber and its lasted forever I am realy suprazied
