Metolius Folder - Fine Edge

This knife is amazing, extremely comfortable in the hand, it isn't thin and flimsy and looks awesome too but I am forever sharpening it as an every day knife having to sharpen it every time I want to use it is a pain. If gerber had used a higher quality steel I don't thing I could fault this knife

I've had this knife for about 6 years, and have been carrying it daily for about the past year(as I've gotten into EDC and overall urban prep). I just looked it up so I could link to it on a Camping Survival post.

My best descriptor for this blade is it's a TANK. It doesn't matter what I do, it holds up. I've only had to sharpen it twice, and make about a 1/20th turn on the screw to tighten the blade once(about a week ago)

I've done some extensive combat training exclusively with this blade, and I couldn't be any more pleased.

A+ 100% recommended to anyone

I have this in my tackle box and despite its tall blade it is absolutely wonderful for cleaning trout. I recommend this knife to any one wanting a highly sturdy folding sheath knife.

when i bought this knife i thought it would be like most lockback folders but when i took it out of the box i ate my words i have used it extensively the lock still holds after beatin the hell out of it, i had a buck omni folder before it and it practically fell apart, the old saying you get what you pay for isn't always true excellent job Gerber you have a future customer in me, cant wait for the downrange tomahawk!!!!!!!!

Just got this in the mail today. Feels awesome in your hand, solid, very sharp, beefy, good weight, the sheath is awesome, and what a great price...Do not doubt this piece at all.

I just bought this knife and I have to say it looks and feels like it will last for forever. Although it isn't razor-sharp out of the box it sharpens well and can whittle a point in a few seconds. Although it doesn't say this under features, it comes with a snap closure nylon sheath that also seems to be built like a tank! GOOD GOB GERBER!
