This zip knife is magic for skinning wiild game. I've used mine on about two dozen wild boar. The last time I used it the tip broke off at the point where the screw goes thru to hold the balde in place. Sound familiar JSJ? I'm sending it for warrantee replacement. I'll consider buying one for my son if the warrantee is honored..

yes good for opening boxes, cutting webbing, rope clothing from injured persons. also works well for skinning whitetail deer. i just insert this in the bullet hole and pull down. pretty awsome tool. though it does get bloody and gathers animal hair in the blade slot

Works better than expected. Guts well. Easy to replace blade. Also, it assisted the process of skinning a hanging deer. Zip up the inside of the leg, around the calf, and pull the skin down. Faster than a knife.

This item broke first time I used it. Lucky it was a gift so I salvaged the blades for my utility knife. Expensive utility knife blades!
