With regular use and exposure to the elements, it is inevitable that certain parts of any tool will need a refresh. Extend the life of your line management tool with the Freehander Replacement Kit, equipped with cutter and Respike™ replacement parts.

  • Use Torx T6 wrench to remove Respike™ & standard fastenerfrom target location. *Respike™fastener is sharp & may cause injury if user is not careful. Avoid contact w/ pin tip during removal & re-installation.
  • Re-insert Respike™ & standard fastener into new desired locations. Use a small amount of removable thread locker. Do not overtighten. *Align cutter teeth if necessary. See pg. 06 for instructions.
  • Do not adjust line vise or axle screws.


  • Using a Torx T6 wrench, slightly loosen the fasteners on the slot side until the cutters can slide freely.
  • Place nippers face down on a flat horizontal surface & gently squeeze jaws together until teeth just touch.
  • Carefully tighten slot side fasteners while still face down. Do not overtighten. Check teeth alignment. Go back to step on if not sufficiently aligned.
