MEET GERBER
Details:
When you've landed the big one, fumbling for tools isn't easy. Enter the new Flik Fishing Tool. With a flik-of-the-wrist the long needle-nose pliers deploy quickly, keeping one hand free for more important tasks. Remove hooks in a snap, or sharpen them with the included file. This tool is packed with implements like flip-out scissors able to cut 150# line, which means you can leave all those other toys back in that clunky tackle-box.
Was even better with the rubber sheath that would withdraw the pliers when one drew it from the case!!
Please bring it back!
I’d buy one for every fisherman I know!
Damn, what a shame. This is by far the coolest fishing multi tool out there. I lost my Leatherman which I had for 12 years and use for fishing. I was always wondering if they made a longer thinner nose plier. Wouldn't you know it gerber does. This tool is exactly what I need and you don't make them anymore. What a shame. I guess I will have to go back to Leatherman and continue the search. What an amazing product!!
Absolutely amazing! My late grandfather got me one and I was always using it. Unfortunately it was stol
I have has this for 5 years and no problem. Long needlnose come in handy alot. Please bring this back. This version is selling for $200 used one Ebay. That let's you know how good they are
This is the best fishing tool I've ever had. I had two and one went overboard. Tried to buy another one and see you are no longer producing it. What a shame. Hope you change your mind and make them available again. I found two on Ebay and they are asking over $200. I love the tool but not that much.
Don't know why they discontinued this - the ONLY multi tool they ever made where the "needle nose" plier is actually a nice narrow nose. Crimper came in handy all the time, combo file / steel "emery board" was great for honing hook points or other small parts. I had an earlier version than what is pictured - no saw, slightly different shaped tools. So unpopular I had to 3 times stop some fool from trying to swipe it off me while I was working....finally someone got it. Came looking here to get another only to find....too bad.
I really like this multi-tool and all its functions, my only complaint is the lack of options. I would like to have another all black, od green, or blue. if something like that is available, then im sorry i missed it.
i dont understand why it was discontinued because i would have liked to get my hands on one before they stopped making them i liked the long plyer noses for small jobs. I hate fishing though i think i would have found it useful in my bug out bag or when i went to scout meetings
