Gerber's Sport Saw comes in two versions. One has a coarse blade that's a natural for cutting wood. The other has a fine blade made especially for sawing through bone without a hint of trouble. Both versions have the ability to retract the saw blade completely inside the rugged handle, with a clean sliding action. Likewise, both versions cut up to 1/3 faster than ordinary saws of this size. A handier, more efficient saw simply doesn't exist.

This retractable saw is just the right size and weighs hardly anything. I really enjoy using it to this day. Help make America great again and bring it back.

Best saw Ive ever owned, Lightweight and sharp, the new version unfortunately inst as light. Not sure why you stopped making this one, BOOO!!!

The best 10 bucks I have ever spent, I have had this saw for about 10 years now and still going strong. I broke my brothers and bought 2 of the black handle sliding saws and after a few limbs the blades on both of them are bent and get stuck in the wood .Where can I get blades for the old ones or find the complete saw.

When I got this saw I thought it would break. Turns out it would cut through a 3" branch like a knife through butter and has held up to a lot of use for more than 10 years now and I'm still using it! Blade is getting dull though and doesn't cut like it used to. Wish I could get a new one or at least a new blade! So durable,lightweight, and compact it"s excellent for backpacking. Why did you "discontinue" it?

This really is an amazing saw, its soo compact yet sturdy as hell, I agree with Tree stand hunter, why was there a stop in production? great none the less.
