Around here the two go hand in hand. Because the truth is, a Gerber isn't a Gerber until it's got a few (or a few hundred) stories under its belt.

I am a Fire Rescuer I own a Gerber Gator and I also own a multi-tool.
One night we were called out to a structure fire I was on one of the rescue teams to go in I got separated from my "battle buddy" when I fell through a second story floor and became entrapped in a hidden crawl space I was in very confined quarters with smoke and flames all around me and I had no room what so ever to use my axe which was 3 ft away from me at the time I had only the will to live and my Gerber multi-tool which will from here on out will never leave my turnout gear I was able to use the needle nose head on the tool to breech a hole in some damaged flooring and eventually freeing myself and I went home that night with a soot covered tool and a story to tell.
Your tool saved this firefighters ass and has continued to work for me ever since, I never go anywhere without my gator and the same multi-tool that saved my butt on my belt with a new tool in my gear now.
You guys are true heroes. Thank you for such a great product.
