Just got a brand new replacement knife for the one that failed. Thanks for the great customer support Gerber. Hope to have better luck with this one.

Firefighter/EMT Dylan - JAN 7, 2013
Owned this knife for about 6 months. I used to love it until it fell apart, and no I didn't abuse it. One or more internal screws failed and the case separated. I heard Gerber has great customer service, I'm waiting to find out because I sent it back under warranty. Waiting to see what they do.

Paramedic daily carry EMS Ninja - NOV 5, 2012
I work as a full time paramedic and this knife is the perfect size to carry at work. Easily opens one handed and the serrations are great with tougher materials. I've carried this knife with me every shift for 2 years and never had a single problem with the action or had screws fall out. Love it.

My 'mini' of choice Tanino - AUG 31, 2012
I definitly love the serie. I own the usa made bigger auto with its S30V blade and the anniversary model of the 'big' folder but this mini is my daily companion. I read often things about the steel but, with years of use, i have to say that it's ok for me. You quickly obtain very good edge and able to reach polished finish close to the ats34 one if you properly know how to use leathers. Even more 'stealth' looked than its bigger bros with its g10 squarred handles, the notches allows a real deep carry in the pocket (this kind of clip works only with this design). I was first afraid with the durability of the spring, but it finally works just flawlessly well. The blade have been adjusted by the scew , a bit , once in 2 years of daily use. Very good knife for the money.

Good Daily Carry RJ Rinfret - FEB 29, 2012
I have the Combat folder and wanted something smaller for daily carry, the mini covert FAST fits the bills nicely. The size is good in your hand but not too large or bulky in your pocket or waistband. I was concerned the tacky handles would be sticky like a Hogue pistol grip but it isn't, just good micro checkering. Only downside is the action was rough out of the box. I had to clean and oil to make it function as it should. I would have paid double if this was Made in the USA like the full auto versions.

FF/Medic Troy - FEB 10, 2012
For the price it is a nice knife. Good size for a small pocket knife. Please, Gerber, make the straight edge knife an option. Not on par with the larger automatic versions but it is not meant to be, either. Action was a little gritty out of the box, hopefully it will smooth out after more use.
