EVO, Ti-Coated - Fine Edge

This is by far the best knife I have ever owned, I just love it. It is extremely light and easily opened with one hand. I put it in my pocket with the clip over the outside of the pocket then go all day and can’t tell it is even in there. This is the first knife I have had that I can have in my pocket and it does not bother me. At this great price I carry it every day.

knife has been through everything from cutting thin sheet metal to rope to cardboard and about anything else. even used to short a starter on a dozer. knife has never let me down been lost and in the weather for over 6 months a little oil and she was back to new. finally lost a few screws out of it and had to retire it after 4 years of being rode hard and put up wet.

There when you need it! I have carried the EVO II on my turnout gear for sometime now, and have used it from cutting seat belts at car accidents to cutting away wire from HVAC ducts when it got tangled on my gear. It truly has taken a lot and given back more....the design is light weight and easy to keep clean after a fire as well as the one hand operation even with a pair of gloves on is easy. WELL worth the price and now have other firefighters in my company carrying them. Thanks GERBER..

I have put this knife through so much, saltwater in Florida to snow here in Indiana, and it still works. I've dropped it while biking and ran over it with a car, and it still works. I've taken it to every material from bread to rock, and it's still sharp. This is the perfect knife to carry on an every-day campout or week in the woods.

Overall, a very good quality knife for the price. The folks who say they can't get it razor sharp don't know how to do it. I can shave with mine!

Just found one stuck in the webbing of a hammock where I was camping this weekend, Eastern Sierra's. Sharpened it, oiled it and now it sits in the tank bag of my motorcycle!! A very nice find.

Bought this knife because I got into one of those "i need to buy something manly" at cabelas a few months ago. the size of the knife is not..well.."manly". but it serves its purpose for its price. just like you wouldnt leave the house without your wallet, phone, or keys, this knife goes with me wherever. like other reviews, i havent been able to keep the blade RAZOR sharp, but sharp enough to cut boxes, tape, etc.

This is my second knife from Gerber. It has never been the killer or the utility knife of choice but it is the one that I will never be caught with out. It is perfect because it is small, light, sharp, and durable. Always there, always ready and always capable of any job you give it. It is truly a great knife!

I've carried this knife in my pocket everyday for about 3 years. Its one of my favorite knives in my large collection. Its super light weight, but feels very solid and comfortable. When opened, the blade is solid and does not wiggle at all. Its low profile makes it fit comfortably in my pocket. When I bought the knife, the edge wasn't very sharp, I have sharpened it dozens of times, but I've never been able to get it razor sharp, like other knives I own. Nonetheless, its a great everyday/outdoor knife.

I have had this knife for close to five years and used it almost everyday its held up fantastic.

Now that ive broken in and oiled up the knife, i can flick it open with only the movement of my index. Ive been asked several times if its spring loaded...

Fantastic knife! Bought the evo at Academy Sports for $30 dollars and I am very impressed with the quality. The very sleek and lightweight design is perfect for my needs. I'm a boy scout so the knife has seen a lot of use for about 2 years and what im most impressed with is that the finish is in perfect condition still.

i purchased the serrated version and im very happy with it an all around good knife
