Love this knife. withstands all the punishment i can dish to it. and keeps going. blade holds an edge great. Very fast, smooth and, very quiet opening. very convenient to fit in pocket or assault pack on on belt.

I have had the The Gerber 06 Automatic for about 4 years now. Just got this knife. It opens quickly and quietly. It feels very balanced. It is being tested in Afghanistan right now so I will let you know how it does.
