GOT THIS ON IN MY POCKET BUT THE ONLY THING WRONG IS WHEN ITS CLOSED IT HITS THE METAL AND THE BLADE AND I HAVE TO KEEP SHARPING IT.
Its a really nice knife, sharp out of the box and light as any knife i own. Blade locks up really well and there is no play. Over all its really great and i cant find any faults except the scales which are a little ruff. But over all its nice.
I got this knife as a gift from my grandparents, and when I came home with it I put it to the test in the woods! Help up amazingly! The only thing I would change is the blade maybe make a model (FE) instead of (SE) and also I bought another one just to carry in my pocket and after three days of carrying it the orange paint wore off of the bear grylls emblem, but overall its an awesome knife especially for a reasonably priced knife that holds up as good as this one!
Love it. Very light in weight, great for small survival kits, everyday carry, or as a small backup knife to your backup knife.
My 10 year old son Wesley loves his knife
Cuts great best knife ever
This is my new favorite carry everywhere knife. Super light and small. I don't even notice it in my pocket. This is great for small day to day tasks.
It's well made and feels good and solid. Perfect price for it too!
I just got this knife for Christmas and I love it. Love the design, light weight and the blade is awesome. Like it better then my old timer.
Bought this knife at Wal-Mart a couple of months ago, wanted something small and compact. The orange BG logo paint quickly wore off, after handling the knife for a few minutes, which I actually don't mind.
This knife is awesome, it's sharp, it's very light, it's well crafted. I keep it in my pocket whereever I go.
Would definitely buy this knife again, and would get it for a friend as a give.
I literally never leave the house without this knife. I admit that I had to give it a few passes on the stone when I first got it, but that is the only issue. No matter what I do, this little knife is there. So lite it disappears in a pocket. Adds no weight to a key chain EDC, and it has a magnificent blade and is very durable. Beats my Spyderco in every way.
this nife is awesome super sharp, bg symbol comes off easily
i have had many knives for "survival" but this one is by far one of the better ones just as a everyday pocket knife it works good as a back up knife its thin light and sharp
Super light, small, and surprisingly durable. This is my EDC.
This is a great little knife! I use this nearly everyday. It is comfortable and takes and holds an edge extremely well.Great job Gerber!
5 star
I like camping hiking. I am not a survivorlist. When in the woods for a knight or two in a state forest I don't need a 4" blade. This knife does enogh work to make my trip a success. If I were to go to backcountry then I need a big knife. Great product
very good for the woods
This is the best little knife I have owned for the price. The only downfall is, the Bear Grylls logo came off.
Picked it up because I wanted a lightweight knife to wear with suits and dress pants. I have more substantial knives that I carry in jeans or outdoor wear.
It's perfect for any lightweight jobs you'll encounter when dressed up, but don't expect it to pry open elevator doors or chip your way out of a Turkish prison.
Buy it for what it is and you'll be pleased.
super awesome compact scout knife
tansee you bear grylls
see you soon
good
This knife works very well. Nice light and sharp.
Great little knife. Very sharp, and with the Gerber warranty you cant go wrong!
Bought this knife a few weeks ago to have as an "every day carry"-knife, as it is small it will fit in the smallest of pockets you could imagine. The knife itself is quite light, the handle could just be a tad thicker, but as it is - the knife performs good for the lighter tasks.
i got this knife to use as sortof a bear grylls pocket knife. it works well for that use
Phenomenal Knife within reason. As others have said, this Knife is really only useful for beginners and Kids. This is probably the best Cub Scout Knife out there as it is small in hand, comes razor sharp, is ultra light, easy to close and is undeniably legal almost anywhere. I can see it's use in Survival Kits as well where size and weight are critical as it is about the same size and weight as the Leatherman Squirt but with a bigger blade. The locking mechanism isn't superb and you could never baton with it but overall it is a great Knife. The only real downside considering it's field of use is that it is Made in China!
good small knife great for cutting rope and just as a knife when u need to cut small things but it would brake if u cut any wood or open osters so not that strong but still a good knife and the bg logo rube off way to quick but it is still worth getting
I got this knife for my birthday and it was great at first but a couple months after I got it I stuck it into a piece of wood and when I pulled it out the tip of the blade stayed in the piece of wood. nice try bear but try again
Good knife but the handles seems cheap but still no problems
this knife isnt just for beginners its for anyone who needs a strong and lightweight knife. The plastic just makes it lighter and has a very strong lock back. I have it and love it and id reccomend this to anybody as a good backup knife or even primary knife ITS AMAZING!
This knife is only useful as a beginners knife, such as to a kid who is responsible and likes to go in the woods. Other than that, the plastic grip i dislike, and i do not like the locking mechanism on this knife either as i think the frame lock is stronger for a more practical use, but thats opinion.
Over all its a good knife for any little kid or scout who needs their first knife. Other than that, all others should disregard this little thing
I got one and i like it, good and very light weight
Small,nice,strong,great knife;)
Knife is great!
The knife is really light, smooth mechanism, very sharp out of the box. The knife would erform much better without the serrations which i find inconvienient. Slightly disappointed with the handle being made of plastic which appears to be kind of cheap. Overall great knife, except it needs a full fine edge and a sturdier handle.
looks great i'll get this
I bought this knife for my teenage daughter when we are out in the woods. It is a perfect knife and she is very pleased with it. She says it is one of the most prettiest knives she has ever seen, but ofcourse the knife does it job where it is designed for, regardless to the looks of it.
Well done Bear Grylls and Gerber!
i am getting this cool knife, i am about to burst,
now thats how desperate i am.
This is a perfect little knife to wear on your key lanyard or just throw in your pocket. It performs small tasks very well and I have to say I am very pleased with it! Well worth the money.
i am ordering this in 20 mins can not wait
i am getting this knife tonight can not wait.
this knife rox it is extremely sharp and light i alwase have this knife on me i strongly recomend his knife
Very strong but light weight
i love how light and powerful it is
I was going to go with a Ultimate knife, but then I saw this. For the cost I decided this might fit with my tight budget and would suggest this for anyone who is money conscious.
i love how light and powerful it is but is some times misplaced in my pocket cause of lightness
I thought this knife would be skimpy & lame, but it's excellent quality & EXTREMELY sharp! I may buy a few more I liked it so much! Now if only there was a Bear Grylls shovel.... (hint hint)
Like the Blade, very sharp edge and nice shape. Extremely disappointing to find the handle is just plastic and not rubber coated at least, or rubber coated metal as i was hoping.
This knife is small and suitable for your pocket. Very sharp!!!
I bought this knife a few months ago, it hasnt had a problem since. i have used it in all kinds of ways, and i havent had to sharpen it at all!. Very good knife!
This small knife came sharp out of the box. I like the serrations, it's grippy to hold, and, it locks our so it wont flip back on your fingers. This is not a serious blade but super useful in the wild
small but good
Not suitable for EDC. Lock knives are illegal in public in UK. Surprised the chief scout didn't know that.
I always carried in my pocket. Small, easier, light weight and sharp.
I've gutted, cut fix lines, twist ties, and cut branches to brush for camo...amazing. No need for anything bigger unless your at war or gutting an elk...
sexy and nice
really nice knife really good and sharp but the blade gets blunt very fast
So good, so light, perfect for camping and also deep sea hunting, i love it!
This knife is really cool for EDC. It is a medium-sized, compact knife that you can easily put in your pocket. I LOVE the little signature on the blade.

great knife its a lot bigger than i thought it would be
Best
it truly is a great knife! it may be small but do not underestimate the capabilities of this little guy! all, in all, great
GREAT KNIFE! i bought this knife and it is truly the best! nice and small cuts anything i want it to! and fits anywhere i want it to!
Great little knife for under $20. It holds an edge well and is so light you will forget that it's in your pocket. So far I have no real complaints (Other than the orange BG logo rubbed off) Buy it!
I've read the reviews and I only agree with the first two. I find that it has the sharpness for what I need a knife for and I like the light weightness of it. I've had Gerber knifes before and I've never been disappointed with the reliability or construction of the knife. I think that because I tend to lose or misplace my pocket knives, I like the fact that it's cost was under $15.
I bought this knife a few weeks ago and have been using it here and there. Nothing heavy-duty, but for the size and cost it performs how you would expect it to. The blade is actually of decent quality, and although it may not retain its edge, it is fairly easy to sharpen. The knife is light and barely noticeable. The handle is slightly flimsy due to the material but cuts back on weight well and can lock. All in all, it really depends on what its uses are for you. If you want a good affordable blade that is light, compact, and will perform light-duty cutting tasks, this is one to consider. If its purpose is intended for heavy-duty cutting, or life depending situations it will only serve as a backup. Hope this helps
Just got this knife today. Awesome. Cuts everything. I cut rope with it I didn't even use the serrated edge it took only one slice to cut it
I bought his knife becuase it looked lightweght and easy to carry. However, after opening the package, the knife appears to be very cheap. I have several other gerber knifes that have alway worked well. But this knife will not stay in it's locked positi
i got this knife for work and the blade wiggles alot back and fourth. its an ok knife bought it shows poor quality...wouldnt buy on again for $18...at best its a $5.00 KNIFE
I bought this knife less than two days ago, it was razor sharp whenever I took it out of the box. I shaved some hairs off my arm, even. However, after cutting the tape on a handful of boxes at work, it has become clear that the blade isn't able to retain
