5 question??? Mr.tom - JUL 22, 2014

Is the bag big enough for a 1 person camping trip?thx

5 Survival Swagster Andrew - JUN 15, 2014

There is a first aid kit in the ultimate survival pack which is included with this bundle. I think it's a great pack overall

5 I want this really bad!! Plz Help!!! BearGryllsFanManDudeBro - MAY 8, 2014

I really badly want this, although, my parent's may not let me cause of all the knives and the fire starters. But that is part of the reason I want this! I also want this because, if I'm ever at a camp of some sorts and got lost I could use this to my advantage.... Also is there ever a sale on these products?

4 Money Mike - APR 18, 2014

I have the bag and pro knife and think they are both great value for the money. I paid $70 for each. I guess if you pay full retail for the stuff it can seem a bit pricey but these days all survival gear is pricey. The gerber knife that the pro knife is based off of is the exact same price as the pro. But Bears knife is much more conducive to self reliance where the other is more combat. So it's not like your paying for the name. Go price out a similar bag from north face and you'll be paying $200+ for the bag alone. A lot of people bad mouth this gear with no good reason other than that they don't like Bear. He is a great guy who puts out great consumer grade gear. If you want legit pro grade gear you will be paying $300 just for a knife. If the price of the full kit breaks your bank just piece it out and get it on sale or get just what you need. All in all, this stuff is good consumer grade gear at a decent retail price point. It's your fault if you don't shop around for a bargain.

4 Nice pack Phil - MAR 25, 2014

All in all I like this and I hope to purchase it soon. I have saved thoughs of you who look at this review the trouble of telling you that this package deal is cheaper than splitting the pack up item by item. I already have the hatchet and compact scout knife and like them.

4 Your Title Tom S - MAR 6, 2014

I really like Bear and all his product I've been waiting for a kit just this this

Thanks Geber

5 minimalist Remi - JAN 12, 2014

This is a good kit, a 45L pack is perfect for a week or two in the wild. I own a 36L and I can be a week in the wild without any problems. You just have to pack you backpack the good way and only bring the necessery.

2 Pathfinder Arnold - JAN 4, 2014

the whole kit is great, but it would be nice if you would make a kit making system, where you put your own kit together with the bag and other merchandise...

5 Me Thedo - DEC 25, 2013

Awesome thanks to the wife for getting me this, can never have enough knives

4 Is missing some things Mountain climber - DEC 23, 2013

You know...when I saw this I say for a minute in amazement but then I realized if this is a mountain climbing pack......where's the rope or clips? Overall, I would love to have this but for actual mountain climbing you'll need more equipment ;)

3 Your Title john - DEC 22, 2013

this is a package of GERBER BG products not a pre packed survival kit accept that and move on gerber dont make first aid kits if they did i'm sure they would have included one

5 Truly amazing Daryush contractor - DEC 16, 2013

If you don't want the hardcore full pack for $950, then this rucksack is perfect. I'ts got all the necessary things that you might need to survive in the harshest environments. priorities of survival is a really useful thing to have on hand if you're ever in a sticky situation. It's a great rucksack, lightweight and its perfect for camping, hiking, backpacking, day trips, almost anything outdoors. Some people may think that three knives is an overkill but in my opinion, isn't it always good to have a backup plan? "Never depend on those luck moments, they are gifts, but instead always build your own backup plan" ----- Bear Grylls.

5 save a lot of money Nathan Dupon - DEC 15, 2013

i dit the math and if you buy all this stuf apart you wil pay 539 so you save lot of many so 350$ is a right price !!!

3 Outsider Cody - DEC 12, 2013

I do not own this, but I do love Gerber products. The thing I notice is the pack is only a 45L bag, which means its simply an overnight bag. Youd still have to bring along your full pack for a weekend or excursion trip plus dragging this along. hmm not sure if its worth the $$. But thats my opinion

5 Your Title Alec B - DEC 10, 2013

You can never have too much survival gear, too many knives? Never.

1 Avid Outdoorsmen Dave Mather - DEC 9, 2013

Agree with Brian Blom. I love BG as much as the next guy and Gerber makes great products. But c'mon guys. No one can really be buying this right?? I mean 350 for 200 dollars (250 absolute max) worth of gear.....I'll save the hundred bucks as opposed to having nice pretty matching orange and black color scheme.

5 Hiker Macintosh - DEC 9, 2013

I am going to save up for this

5 awesome awesomeness - DEC 9, 2013

best thing yet

5 Great Job Gerber Steve - DEC 5, 2013

I think this is a great kit, with 3 knives, an ax, flashlight, a compass, a canteen, and survival stuff. If intended for use, I pack a couple more things, such as clothes and the junk I can never leave behind. I still have a lot of space left to. The backpack is spacious, and confess it is now my new work backpack, it has more space. I now carry the multi-tool in my coat. and I use it thousands of times a day. The headlight is useful. The price was way worth it, I have had many remarks about my gear when camping. I would recommend this to my friend, plus it is all such good quality. It will not be disappointing.

1 Reallist Brian Blom - DEC 4, 2013

Purchased seperately, without a BG monogram, you could pick this up for no more than $125...$150 on the top end. Someone is making some money on this deal.

5 MR Armend - DEC 4, 2013

Hi guys im a big fan of survival i love nature
i have been on survival situations and i survived them by the way you have done grate team work an i resepct that and i love
Bear Grylls as a person and for last i wish him luck if he is gonna make a new episode.

2 3 knives, 2 flashlights 7 multi tool but AWC - DEC 4, 2013

you better not get hurt as there is not a single first aid item in this $375 pack. Seems pretty stupid to me to include so many duplicate items but nothing to help if you or someone else gets hurt. Guess I have to bring my own.

5 mr. PETERS André Defender - DEC 4, 2013

4 Mr. Esteban G. - DEC 4, 2013

I found the Canteen specially handy for storing my own urine, I only wish it was bigger and with a wider mouth also it would be a plus if the kit came with two canteens instead of just one as I have an over active bladder.

5 weight Marius - DEC 4, 2013

How much the equipament weights. add it ! :)

5 karmakar subir - DEC 4, 2013

bear is god to me..i love and respect him..

3 Ms. Vickie Smith - DEC 2, 2013

We were excited by the new kits. We really like the mountain pack and the myth kit. However at $375.00 & $500.00 these are out of our budget. We have purchased single knives and survival kits in the past and are pleased with those items. We would have been happy to purchase both at about $125.00-150.00 less.

2 Survival Buff/Wannabee! Craig Porzondek - DEC 1, 2013

Too many knives just need one good one with build in sharpener. Hatchet may be too heavy for a 3 day hike too. Other than that it would be perfect plus sold at a lower price to be affordable for someone like me - I purchased several Bear G items but can't afford the flair...
