5 the best no name - DEC 11, 2013

Good luck to find a better deal.

5 Answer to some complaints Mike - DEC 6, 2013

If you want any of these bag packs by them selves you can buy them at Bear Grylls website. for $100- 150 this one is 150. (Knives not included) I agree with others though, this is a collectors series not a made-ready survival pack. Looks like a nice pack.

5 Awesome survgearhead - DEC 5, 2013

This pack is awesome, little crazy with the amount of fixed blades, lol but hell what if you lose one. Buying separately thru BG ultimate pack will run you about 1,360 BUCKS!! The other mountain pack will run you 539 if you get everything separate. Price still a little crazy but still a nice set up.

5 the guy with a queation question - DEC 3, 2013

can I just by the actual back pack separately

5 RANDOM RANDOM - DEC 3, 2013

GREAT WILL BE SAVING UP FOR THIS VERY COOL COULD USE A SLEEPING BAG THOUGH

1 Survival Buff Craig Porzondek - DEC 1, 2013

Again over kill with the knives... ask Bear what truly would be essentials and not a collection. Let us pick what we want and not have to buy stuff that's truly not needed. Over kill to the max here but some really nice if you selected a pack that truly meant survival, light weight stuff you need and can truly carry. Can't carry all this stuff on one trip or don't see a need for most of the knives unless you are a nutty collector?

4 can it get better dan - NOV 30, 2013

This is what iv been waiting for!
Do all the knifes that don't fold over have a sheath?

1 jinx jinx - NOV 29, 2013

i honestly just dont know why you need 2-3 of the same kinda knives in any kit 1-2 at most a small forlder and a big folder a small fixed and a big fixed why do you need 7 fixed blades and 4 multi tool knives or 10 diffrent knives with the whistle on it like wth its just not needed cut half the set out and make it more affordable wait then it would be his normal pack.... hmm kinda makes me think this is a useless set to have

5 This is amazing! Luke - NOV 29, 2013

it has everything i needed i just headed out into the great outdoors with everything i needed in this bag.

5 Cant Wait Diesel487 - NOV 28, 2013

Really would like to have a projected price for this awesome looking product bundle

3 WOW WOW - NOV 24, 2013

Cool stuff, but very very pricey and who needs 20 different knives? Just kindof CRAZY

5 big t big t - NOV 19, 2013

I NEEEEEEEED IT!!!!!

4 Texas Resident Jon - NOV 14, 2013

I think most of you are missing the point of this package. This is "The entire Bear Grylls Gerber survival series available in a single bag." The bag is an exclusive product only available by purchasing this collection. Stop trying to say that this is an out-of-the-box trail-ready survival kit.

I repeat: This is a collection of Bear's products packed away into a limited edition trail bag.

3 man.... sinjin - NOV 9, 2013

5 navy seal griffin - NOV 3, 2013

Great idea I love it I told everyone I have this pack and they want one to

1 Sfg Akoertner - NOV 2, 2013

Bear Grills might need all this but Les Stroud doesn't ....

4 knives KEVIN - OCT 24, 2013

I dont thing that i, or anybody, would need that meny knives!

5 Qeustion Unknown - OCT 24, 2013

Do the machetes and other knives and sharp things have sheats so that the backpack wouldnt tear

3 where's the rest sean - OCT 12, 2013

It says everything in the gerber bear grylles line is included ....but the bbinoculars, monacle and solar charger that hooks to your backpack is missing and thats just what i noticed.

so is everything included or not?

5 Bushman Patrick - OCT 11, 2013

Guys.... have you ever thought about, that this is just for collectors? For sure you will nevee need 14, 15 or even 18 Knives & Cuttingtools in one Pack! The Ultimate Pack is no pack just to start an adventure after you got it... You can choose your Gear, pack it in and put your other gear like sleeping backs and things like this in it too.... So please stop to tell gerber that this kit sucks or it's stupid.... It is for COLLECTORS in the first line!

5 Great D - OCT 10, 2013

Amazing deal, if you have the money for it. just buying this you save roughly over $200, and it's like you get a free backpack that is probably at least another $200 alone.

4 engineer PT - OCT 9, 2013

Heck, if you just can find someone to take the 90% of the knives off your hands at 20% off list, you'll have paid for over half of the pack. You'll have a nice pack and the tools that you want.

5 Kyle Tiegen - OCT 5, 2013

There should be a smaller version

3 Mountain Guide Maledictus - OCT 4, 2013

All the products are high quality. The issue with this package is that apart from the value of collecting it is meaningless. A good bushcrafter and survivor does with much less. :) Essentials are a knife, an axe and a good multitool.

3 same question loboloco - OCT 3, 2013

does this bag comes with ALL these items (60) or is JUST the bag? if it´s "yes" with ALL items (knives, ax, machete, lamps, blankests, etc.) I WANT one.

5 Answers to Questions Joe Littlehorn - OCT 1, 2013

People are all saying that it needs to have a way to signal and purify water, and they are also saying that they wish that the bag was sold independently. To answer some questions, there are actually a few items that have mirrors. For example, just to list the two that come to mind is in the Survival belt (which also has a fishing kit) and the black rectangular bag, which is the BG Ultimate Survival Kit, which has a specialized mirror that has a sighting device. Gerber cannot sell the bag individually because it is manufactured by a different company. All items that carry the BG logo offer a lifetime warranty, and if you would like to by the backpack individually go to www.beargryllsstore.com. The nesting cup on the bottom of the canteen is the way to purify water. This kit has everything you need to make fire, and as long as you have the canteen and water, just pop off the cup on bottom and get boiling. Even though it looks as though the pain may come off or it will get all black, it stays very clean and does not lose paint, nor is it difficult to clean if you DO get smoke stains on it. A few people have asked whether or not the bag can hold a sleeping bag or not. The answer is that yes, it has enough room to fit in between the top compartment and main compartment and can be held on with the compression straps. I hope I answered some main questions and hope you will seriously consider buying this pack. If you have any other questions please look at an item specifically as it tells of all the contents/features of the item.
Thanks,
Joe Littlehorn

5 awesome teen bush craft - SEP 25, 2013

i saw a lot of people sayin i dont take 12+ knives on a camp out and stuff like that well duh it aint ment for that its ment for you to buy all the items at once then switch them out as you need them

5 Awesome Campbell - SEP 21, 2013

I agree with Ben. I would buy this pack in a heartbeat but the problem is the price. It is just to expensive for most people. I think that it is high quality, but for average people, we can't pay $950 for a backpack and a lot of knives. I could understand a price of maybe $750. that is in a better price range than $950. But aside the price I think it is an awesome pack.

1 Survivor Corazon - SEP 11, 2013

One GOOD knife should be enough, but apparently if you take BG's one you need 10 of them to make the job !!!

5 Piece of AWESOME!!!!!!! Awesome D - SEP 10, 2013

I don't have one yet but I'm almost there. This pack looks amazing! u know what? LOADS OF LLAMAS! I can't wait to get one! LOL

5 Survivorman wanta be Keith.West101 - SEP 8, 2013

Wow, this is really the "Ultimate Pack", this the most reliable pack you will ever find. if i had one, i'll use it everyday on my daily hikes. But if you want a good survival pack with good durability that would fit your budget, that's okay, but you can't get a fine pack like this.

5 I want one Corey - SEP 8, 2013

When will there be more available I am really interested in grabbing one!!

5 READY ZOMBIES? blcy - SEP 7, 2013

ARE U READY 4 THE WAR? AHAHA

3 from a backpacker matthew - SEP 7, 2013

Need a BG sleeping bag and stove. The backpackers will buy. But if the S-bag is not EN rated forget it, they won't take seriously.

4 survivalman jimmie - SEP 4, 2013

looks good. and to everyone complainging about the price.
its so you have all the bear grylls items.
and not so you have them all at onces if you go to camp or something . it is so you can take it apart and pick what knife what belt w/e . idiots.lol

5 Ben Ben - AUG 28, 2013

I think that bear grylls products are very high quality, very useful, and very very durably. The only problem is the price. These products are unaforable. I've been able to put together an arsenal of tools similar to these, but at a cost of maybe $155 (a large majority being only a $35 knife), and I find it works great! So if you have ten times what I paid on similar items, I'd heavily recommend these! They are VERY amazing! Just sadly out of the common person's price range.

5 question ranom dude - AUG 27, 2013

3 amazing cobie - AUG 27, 2013

5 Amazing gearguyTom - AUG 21, 2013

I do not have one of these yet but this looks like a very good product. only problem is that i already have some of the BG products.
Great job Gerber

3 Paramedic Mike - AUG 21, 2013

Yes , I'll bet people are lining up for this.
almost a cool grand for this. At least throw in a good tent. That might almost make it a good package.

4 Survivalist-in-training Jesse - AUG 21, 2013

Although I do not have one YET! but I think this is the ULTIMATE B.O.B. Just add some MRE's and 230gr of JUSTICE and your set for the next 72hrs! A very awesome compilation. Hats off to you GERBER!!

4 survivalist/vet jerizad - AUG 20, 2013

the ult pack is over the top bear reduce the amount of stuff to maybe 5 knifes and a hatchet slash compass and canteen and maybe a little more and then more people will buy it who needs 20 knifes going on any trip did u i don't think so so get for real and start dealing

5 Great FYSH - AUG 17, 2013

the point of the bag is to ave all of the GB gear and i agree that it would be to much to carry but you can take out and add things some of you people are not smart i agree that there should be a first aid kit a signalling item in there should be a bag of cotton balls the best tinder for flint and steel but not the small ones they burn out to quick but just a little bit bigger and are there straps on the out side of it so i can hook up a sleeping bag and there should be a really basic fishing kit with like a really small rod for easier casting and retrieving but over all this is a very good kit

5 AMAZING FYSH - AUG 17, 2013

cant wait to get it i just need to work really hard for my parents and wait for x-mass

5 Knives shade - AUG 15, 2013

There isactually 21 knives including the saw and machetes and the hatchet along with the one tha come in the kits

5 retail value!!! ... - AUG 15, 2013

i found out what the retail value is and it would cost $1,249.00 to buy all the stuff in this bag.

5 AWESOME!! Shade - AUG 14, 2013

This pack looks amazing i only wish i had the money to get one.

5 Awesome Chris - AUG 14, 2013

I would buy this in a second if.........

5 cool expensive joe - AUG 14, 2013

I LOVE THIS ITS JUST TOO MUCH IF IT WAS LIKE WITH A FIRST AID KIT AND WATER PURIFICATION NICE PACK

1 OG dylan - AUG 13, 2013

worst pack ever.

4 Lady Survivalist Linda - AUG 13, 2013

I would like them to list everything in the pack, so I know precisely what I am getting, and then to describe the pack itself. Also, would the pack have room for a sleeping bag, or does it come equipped with a tarp and sleeping bag?
If my questions get answered, I would give this a 5 star rating. We LOVE bear!!! Thanks!!!
Lady Surivalist

5 Expensive Vincent - AUG 13, 2013

I would rather that Gerber Sell this without all the extra stuff and or just sell only the bag...

5 Your Title Bernardo Magalhães - AUG 13, 2013

I wished I had this Kit with all the knives and gear!!!

1 Really, there are far, far better knives and outdoor gear available elsewhere. Most of this stuff is junk - AUG 13, 2013

I never understood the fascination with bear grylls. The knives are generally not very well-made and the bracelets and other gear are very sub-par compared to that available from other manufacturers.

It's overpriced for what it is, but I suppose there are people out there that will just pay anything for stuff with his name on it.

2 A for effort but Zephroth - AUG 13, 2013

a survival kit is not a nicety thing its the bare essentials that you only need if your in trouble or in the wilderness lost.

the point of a survival pack is to survive and be rescued. No mirror in this pack tells me that's not what this is.

also 14 knives and two different sized machete is a lot of weight to be carrying around.

a real survival kit needs only a few things, a good knife, a hatchet, something to start fires with(preferably a lighter in a waterproof bag with some tender), a poncho, and a mirror so you can target aircraft and attempt to get rescued.

niceties include first aid kit, rope, and flashlight(preferably led)

just for people buying into the hype.

5 Great Fysh - AUG 13, 2013

First all of you people saying that it should be cheaper and this and that if you add up every thing in the survival category it will be more than the cost of the bag
And all of you people saying it is over kil THE POINT IS TO HAVE ALL OF THE GB COLECTION AND EVER HEARD OF TAKING THEM OUT OF THE BAG YOU DON'T NEED TO TAKE ALL OF THEM
But just from looking at it it looks amazing and can't wait to get it thanks gerber and bear grylls for the beat stuff ever

4 expensive shawn - AUG 12, 2013

I don't need that many knives! I do like the bag.

5 Very Cool Owen - AUG 11, 2013

It is a very nice set but the reason for gerber to have this is not so you have all the knives at once it is so you can own the whole collection of Bear Grylls products

5 expensive Hugh - AUG 11, 2013

I would get it without all the gear

5 Amzaing Ben - AUG 11, 2013

I'm a survivalist, and this is one of the best pre-made packs ever seen. Even when its pre-made by a company!

5 Amazing Survivor - AUG 11, 2013

Perfect

2 WOW! CRAZY $$$$ - AUG 10, 2013

I have to agree with others on the fact that 10 plus knives is a little silly. Also, if Gerber is going to call this the ultimate pack, their should be some means to purify water. Remember Protection, Rescue, Water, Food are the basics needed for survival. They definitely covered protection with all the steel you get for the low price of $950. Throw in a grocery store and I'll by one.

4 nice pie - AUG 10, 2013

very nice and ad a first aid kit

5 Scott Photography Ben - AUG 9, 2013

"do you have knifes or sharp objects in your bag"

"ummmm yes 14 knifes"

bit of a over kill but i would still want it for the next Zombie invasion

1 Sniper Tom - AUG 8, 2013

What about selling only the bag?
who needs 10 knives and 10 tools?

5 Your Title Leonardo Lozano - AUG 8, 2013

The most essential pack I ever seen

3 Ok Steve Kent - AUG 5, 2013

Do not buy it buy what you want and not the whole pack its great quality but do you really need 14 knives

5 Fantastic Leb man - AUG 2, 2013

This product is just amazing
And we can understand the price with what it contain and the performance
Love it, thanks you gerber

5 hiker gregory - AUG 1, 2013

I want one so badly. It looks awesome. Can I make payments. Just tell me where to start sending the checks.

5 Mr. Nick - JUL 31, 2013

Itbis amazing!!

5 BG FAN Brent - JUL 31, 2013

5 Your Title Jeremy Edjan - JUL 31, 2013

This is really the ULTIMATE survival package packed into 1.

5 Your Title KEN - JUL 30, 2013

LOVE IT

5 Expensive Zach - JUL 30, 2013

Wish I could afford this it looks awesome. All of the Bear Grylls stuff is awesome.

5 Zombie Hunter Specialist Burt Killings - JUL 30, 2013

Awesome pack. It really is the ultimate pack. I'm a professional zombie hunter and was able to use 90% of the tools in the pack. Great for the zombie apocalypse.

5 Chief FQA julien - JUL 30, 2013

too cool to pass.. ;b. if i had the money...;(

3 Mr. Russell Comer - JUL 29, 2013

Looks awesome, but at this point I still do not own any of BG items. I have always liked Gerber and use a multitype tool as a everyday carry along with a firestarting rod kept in my wallet. I want to try them, love the outdoors, skillset above many. Tools are only good if a user knows the maximum benefits of them. This "pack" looks overdone. Still looking.

5 expensive bow and arrow - JUL 29, 2013

Whoah that is huge but seriously 950? it should be 150

4 Better Price Jamie Murphy - JUL 29, 2013

I think that they could reduce the price of this. I mean, like $950 for that? You could go buy everything separately. I think the price should be $650

5 Your Title KK Big Ballin - JUL 29, 2013

This is amazing!

2 Wow. What were you thinking? Brian O'Connor - JUL 29, 2013

Gerber, I'm REALLY trying to be nice here, but it is difficult. I must confess that I haven't and will never buy this, but I thought I could offer some (hopefully constructive) criticism. I count 18 bladed implements in this picture, and forget so many essential things?. If you are stuck somewhere and can't boil water after your purification tablets are gone, how are you supposed to cook anything or have safe drinking water? I don't see a lifestraw, lensatic compass for real navigation, or many other things for that matter. You've got 18 instruments that are potentially injurious to the end user, and nothing but a few gauze pads and band-aids to tend to any of the possible outcomes of using them. You'll need water after carrying around so many extra ounces of sub-par, improperly heat treated, armchair survivalist products. You should consider partnering up with more companies who promote real innovation, reputable quality control, and consideration for their customers. It will go a long way.

5 First Look Alex S - JUL 29, 2013

Good Deal!

5 Weekend warrior Tom Cruz - JUL 28, 2013

I love all the Gerber BG line! I'm slowly trying to acquire more items. These products are amazing and awesome!

3 Your Title Freddy - JUL 28, 2013

Before I read more carefully I thought y'all were charging $950 for the pack, which I naturally thought was ridiculous. Thought it had to be a typo. Wonder what that all would cost separately.

2 0211 02122 - JUL 28, 2013

CAN YOU DO THE SAME FOR OUTDOOR

3 None Annonymous - JUL 28, 2013

You guys should probably sell the bag alone as well.

1 Your Title Nick - JUL 27, 2013

Really? 15 knives?

1 Your Title Vince - JUL 27, 2013

Please give me a break. Many years ago Gerber was my favorite brand. I wouldn't take this stuff on a campout.

5 mr. Matt - JUL 27, 2013

hehehe Zombie killin time.....

5 Your Title Phil - JUL 26, 2013

this looks great, any chance of a contest, because thats probably the only way i would have a shot getting one.

4 Explorer Thomas S. Vickerson - JUL 26, 2013

I like knives as much if not more than the next guy but is 10+ knives really necessary?

5 Texas Dad Liam - JUL 26, 2013

Oh I will be getting this no matter what

1 Contractor Grizzly Adam - JUL 26, 2013

This seems like a way to sell lots of merchandise that is sitting on shelves and has little to do with survivalist needs.

Seriously how many of the same style, size and function knife does anyone need? One.

The Bear Grylls Commando 60 survival pack looks interesting though.

3 Awesome Kit ! Survivor - JUL 26, 2013

It`s A Nice Kit ... But The Price Is Too Expensive for a person to buy it !

1 useless dan - JUL 26, 2013

you do not need that many knives/ multi-tools or flash lights, tha'ts a lot of extra weight you do not need if you were ever in a survival situation and for $1000 you should get a sleeping bag that can be slept in below -60. for $500 you could go to your local outdoors store and build a better kit than this. don't get me wrong thou you guys and gals make amazing survival gear just this kit was put together poorly.

1 Outdoor Enthusiast Dave Muncke - JUL 26, 2013

Because when I go hiking/camping, I often carry 12+ knives. What if one breaks?

1 ? Dave - JUL 26, 2013

Redundancy is a requisite in any survival plan. And nothing says 'redundancy' like a survival pack with 7 fixed blade knives.

4 Reserve Infantry Rifleman Michael - JUL 26, 2013

Do you really need each one like the ultimate pro, and the ultimate fine edge and serrated, it's pretty redundant.

5 Customs clearance specialist Tim cole - JUL 25, 2013

There are thing you can prepare for in life, and things you can't. Your parents should have given you these tools to deal with any problem. Like this kit..each tool can make dealing with life's little problems easier. Best to have it and not need it..than need it and not have it!
