Creatively styled yet functional for everyday use, this keychain compatible tool is perfectly sized to be ready when you need it. Surprisingly strong and secure, the tool's components lock while in use to ensure safety.
Details:
Our pocket tools are about function, but they look pretty stylish too. The function comes from locking implements including screw drivers, a blade and file. Did we mention it can open beers too and be clipped to just about anything with the built in carabiner clip? And the style? That comes from our more creative side.
For all of those complaining about the built in carabiner being faulty, just simply attach a split ring key ring to the very bottom of the Gerber Curve (where the small Torx screw is)! I've NEVER lost my knife this way.
At first,i saw this little multi tool online,i think it is a very nice design item but i was thinking does the tools really works well or is it just only a nice looking thing but unless in tool.
So i went to shop and buy 1 of them, after using it for a few days,i loves it very much,so i went back to the shop and buy 2 more of them :)
It is very light and easily keep in pocket and can bring it where ever i go,the tools work well but the best part is the locking of the tools.
Good job Gerber.... but i only hope it can made a bit longer about the length of victorinox classic.
I never realized how much I missed the tool after it was confiscated from my keychain from club security. I discovered that I use this tool in one way or another on average 25 out of 30 days a month.
Great price and very compact. Must have for anyone who doesn't want anything bulky.
Cut out 3 useless tools, and thin it down to a single simple locking knife,
leave the size, leave the shape,
FIX the clip,
and you might have a product.
Right Idea, Fail follow-through
just like the artifact.
amazing Idea, if it did not come open in your pocket, and if the entire body of it wasn't a sharp snagging monster.
If this did NOT have a blade, it would be worth buying as a travel tool.
But as is, you can't put it in a carry on, and there are better everyday tools.
Bought this knife several years ago, and it's been great! Most used feature: Bottle opener. Great size, great weight, fits in just about any pocket.
I received one of these as a gift, and was impressed at first by its size and versatility(love the small single/double-cut file!).
I feel naked without a knife and the Curve seemed to be a great option for a backup knife/multi-tool or an everyday-carry knife for times when I don't want to or can't carry a larger blade.
Unfortunately, this tool failed me the first time I put it to the test, cutting through soft black poly pipe for my maple syrup operation. The pin which secures the back of the knife blade and other tools snapped under medium pressure.
This is definitely a weak point of this tool and a dealbreaker for me in terms of an everyday carry essential item...
Looks great and always close at hand!
The knife blade and bottle opener is handy, but all three screwdriver blades are awkward to use. When extended, they don't lie in the natural rotational axis of the tool The screwdriver blades are OK for the first half turn, but after that you either have to either have to remove the screwdriver blade and re-insert it into the screw-head or keep changing the angle of Curve in your hand as you use your fingers to rotate tool to rotate the screw.
Just bought this and is on my key chain, when I go out on the lands or prep for training for S.A.R ops this is handy for a last ditch effort for cutting fabric, rope, and other tasks that require a small knife blade. the screwdriver and file are great bur the other + screwdriver is not work the effort. otherwise great addition to my kit
wish it was Full Metal the plastic spine is a possible failure point
I love this thing, it's very useful. But the spring clip breaks all the time. I'm on my 3rd curve because the clip pin pops out of the hole, then it just drops off my keychain.
That really needs to be fixed. If it weren't for the clip problem I'd give this 5 stars. But the fact that I keep having to replace it after it gets lost kind of sucks.
good little knife for basic jobs
A great little tool that has served me well over the years and around the globe. I don't leave home without it!
I know alot of people are gonna say how is this worthy of 5 stars but its a fun little tool. It's really cheap but gets the job done without having to whip out some huge blade or multitool so for the price and what it is designed for it doesent get much better.
it is an effective multi-use bottle opener. the blade is sharp enough to cut duct tape and stubborn chip bags. the philips head is a tad on the useless side as it is only partial on to sides but its still a useful as it has 2 different files in it. its a
