this is an awesome, very awesome tool. I wish it was available for non military as well.

I've owned my Legend for 13 years now. I have broken it three times and all three times it was replaced with a new tool. I am a Gerber guy for life. It's a great tool from a great company.

I owned a 01515 multi for years and the spring for the pliers broke and sent back for a replacement. Much to my surprise I received a package within 2 weeks. My tool was obsolete and was replaced with the Legend I am so pleased with the Quality and workmanship of the tool. I am like a kid in a candy store. I have owned one of these for nearly 8 years now and for the first time since owning I finally need to tighten up the screws a little. I absolutly love this Multi-tool. It is easy to open with one hand and having the spring loaded pliers is an absolute must when ou have those hard to reach places and can't use both hands. I have never had to sharpen the blade of the knife and I use this thing religiously. Great tool and very reliable. never had to worry about it breaking. I have even arced a battery with it (on accident) and it still worked great none of the components got welded together just had two nice little burn marks from the battery terminals. Keep up the good work gerber and you will always have my business. I actually just ordered the DMF auto w/ modified clip point blade and the LMF II Infantry in all black. Cant wait to see how those knives perform under the stress of my deployment in afghanistan they are sure to be put to the extreme test while I'm here. Ill make sure and coment on them once I have put them to the grind.

Bought this knife many years ago recently broke the blade sent it back new knife came . what a company!

Only multi-purpose tool I would ever need or want!

Just got the Legend as a replacement for a discontinued product. I love it already. Better than the original product, I'm a veteran and now working as part of the engineering staff in a hospital and it very handy keeps me from carry my tool bag around, most of the time I can fix things on the spot. I also have a Gerber knife and I have to tell you I love all my Gerber tools and looking forward to stocking up on many more products before years end. Thanks Gerber first class company and stands by your products like no other company and that's rare these days.

The best I've ever owned

Best Tool i ever had in my Hands. Good quality and no nonsense features, excellent manufactured, the exchangeable saw blade is so awesome that i never changed it yet, cuts even glass. The Pliers are tough and the Grip feels comfy and doesnt cut into your Hands, so you can apply a good strong grip. The only negative thing is that i miss Rubberized Surface on the outer Pliers Grip (when Pliers unfolded) sometimes it feels a little bit slippy. Great Tool!

Just got one from my supply sergeant, great improvement since the last official issue! I'm the company armorer in my unit and i rely on quick, handy tools to get my job done, whether it's in afghanistan or back here home in the states i'm glad the Army decided to give us these great tools, thanks Gerber!

My favorite multitool! I carry it everyday, it makes those small jobs like tightening a screw, open a package or replace a lamp cord a 1 minute job. Two things could be improved: Extend the philips screwdriver ( .5" is possible). Make the scissors close completely. Overall I love it, 5 stars if above is fixed.
