Multi-Plier 600 - Bluntnose Stainless w/Carbide Insert Cutters & Tool Kit, Sheath
We can think of about 600 reasons why this much-applauded multi-tool belongs on your belt. But don't worry, well just stick to the most important ones here. Like profound versatility, for example. And fail safe performance. And a level of rock-solid design and construction that pleases the eye and satisfies the soul.
It all begins with high quality stainless steel. Then we incorporated Gerber's patented one-handed opening pliers. Top that off with our patented replaceable tungsten carbide wire cutters . When the cutters become dull or misshapen simply rotate the tungsten carbide cutters 120-degrees, and you've got yourself a good-as-new wire cutter. After three rotations, the entire cutter can be replaced.
You'd be hard pressed to find a more rugged or more fearless multi-tool out there. But go ahead and look around a bit. See what you think. Then come on back to Gerber and pick the Multi-Plier 600 that truly suits your needs. We're building plenty.

I carried the 600 for at least 10 years in the field and used it daily. The springs and pins fell out so I can't use it anymore. I'm buying one for each man on my crew because it will save us hours in the field; they are so incredibly useful in so many more ways than you can imagine. A true working man's tool. Why is this the only blunt-nosed model? I have several other Gerber tools, but none have the jaw capacity of the 600. The one-handed, sliding opener is the deal breaker. The best all-around tool on the market for a carpenter.
I got my first Multi tool in 1992 still have it. This tool has survived a 100 foot fall off a cliff and being run over by Tank twice. I will never deploy with out it.
Have owned a Gerber tool for 16 years and use it all the time.Grear on fishing trips.
I carried my Gerber Multitool through Iraq for 3 years Kuwait for a Year and am on my 3rd year in Afghanistan. All together i had mine for 7 years of PSD and Remote duty Para medicine. I used my tool EVERY day of those 7 years. My Gerber Multitool NEVER failed me. That is until it was kidnapped by persons unknown about a month ago. I put up wanted posters even offering a reward for its safe return unmolested. Needless to say i might as well be pissing in the wind. Whoever has it will undoubtedly use it for another 7 years or ten or whatever. After all that time it was still as good as new. I am on the site to get a new one. I feel as if someone has stolen my child. :-(.
I've owned this tool for over 14 years and have beat the hell out of it . I've used it for everything imaginable and it still performs like new. Solid, well built and I'm proud they're still made in America.
Gods gift to mechanics and outdoors men. Have had mine on my side for almost 20 years .
Great tool for a USMC Machinegunner! It has served me well, and with the warranty that comes with it ensures many more years of use. Carry-on being the best.
