Excellent knife, great size, handle, pommel, blade stays sharp, used not abused, still going strong. I own a dozen Gerber knives, some are Bear Grylls, this is my overall favorite and EDC/24/7/365... Keep up the great work & excellent value... PeAce

Outstanding, lasted 5 years of light to moderate abuse in the military till the blade shattered when it got ran over by a 5ton, it was the aluminum handle. Now I have the G10 which in my opinion is a bit better, feels better.. And the extra grip is quite noticeable while wearing gloves, or even witg wet hands. I strongly suggest this blade.

I've owned this knife for ~9yrs and it's been great. Easy to clean, durable, and has a well-balanced feel in your hand. It holds an edge well and the straight/serrated blade is very useful. For the price, it's the best auto-open on the market. Highly recommend.

Found this while working on my route, lucky enough, I'm not military or LEO but man this knife has helped me out alot. Even had an officer offer to buy it off me so I don't get in trouble owning it.

I own this knife, love it, easy handling auto switch blade. the only thing that needs to be improved is the belt clip, the standard small Allen screws loosen way to easy.

Best Knife ever! 3 years in Iraq 1 in Afghaninstan and 1 in Kuwait. Never had it fail and has great edge holding ability. The blade and handles are solid. I have the old Issue aluminum handled one and I like it better. I have inspected other auto knives from the other big names and they have thinner blades and way more expensive!

I was issued one of these while deployed to Iraq in 2008. This was an incredible knife that I loved. It was heavy duty, dependable, and very well built. I need to get another, since I had kept it in my backpack and forgot it while headed out on travel...TSA owns it now unfortunately.

great knife... was issued a BenchMade on my first deployment in our survival gear, Its was a decent knife (not worth the $265 IMO) But my second deployment I was issue this Gerber, with the older heavier handles. I didn't mind the weight because I could use it to chop as well as a normal knife use. Love this knife. I was issued it in 2007 and I still have it today! I actually used it today to cut a fouled HD cargo strap. BTW I haven't had it sharpened since I was issued it new!

This knife is designed and built tough. Great to use when cutting through a wiring sheath while your other hand is holding the harness.

The G 10 handles never lose grip even when your hand has oil or grease on it.

Perfect as EDC and can come in handy in a pinch (the G 10 handles will slowly fray your pockets) or in your bug out bag.

my PLT was given these while in iraq in 08 i carried it everyday since then. i have used it from cutting clothes and medical supply packaging to opening MRE's and even used it as a screw driver. just put a daisy chained 550 cord with a monkeys fist on the end and its perfect.

I have the older version of this fine knife, goes with me everywhere. Everyone who holds it is impressed with how well built it is. Edge retention is excellent.

This is an awesome knife for any LEO or military soldier. I served 10 years in the military and would have loved to have this knife while I was deployed overseas. The G10 grip is very aggressive with and without thick gloves on. Large ease to use button and solid safety. The pummel on the back is very sturdy and large enough to stick out past my hand while holding it; however it is not sharp like some other knife pommels out there. Razor sharp blade, keeps a good retention, and nice finish. I ended up having to put a little bit of Remington Oil on the bearings and now it is very smooth. No grit in push button any more. I carry it every day for work as a State Trooper and also for personal use. By far, the best knife I have ever had. You will not be disappointed.

I really enjoy this knife. It is exactly as described and has a nice handle for large hands. I like the heft and overall size. This is a great knife for everyday use. If it's legal for civilians (including douche cops, since the term civilian refers to non-military personnel) in your state you can't go wrong.

  • |BY: orobb68 , Loving this knife...

Very solid blade; it lives up to the hype. This is a little bit on the large/heavy side for an EDC knife but does fit comfortably in a front pocket... more importantly, it has a very good weight and fits in the hand well. This is MUCH BETTER than the civilian version FAST 06 Tanto. Also, it keeps a very good edge. I tested it on something most wouldn't, the edge of an old marble table. This knife shaved off a little bit of marble and showed no wear. As I said, most wouldn't do that; the point is the S30V steel blade is the real deal.
