Great solid knife. After years of carrying Benchmade's at work our firearms guy bought some DMFs,,,,I'm a convert. I love the G-10 grips, and S30V steel blade. This is a great duty/work knife. I routinely have to cut open burlap covered bales of marijuana, and this blade style is perfect for hard use.

I have had multiple Gerber autos and other equipment made by Gerber for military and LEO use. They are excellent and have found they are second to non. Other companies provide great comparable knives, but not anywhere near the affordable prices. Also, Gerber provides a phenomenal warranty and response to repair. Just received my very worn Tanto 06 back and couldn't be happier Please, to all who have not used or can own these items leave a review. It's obnoxious, you have tainted this entire site with bogus reviews.

I am a huge advocate of auto knives for LEO's I believe that the knife should have ambidextrous controls and that an officer should carry these on support side. The clip also needs to be able to be changed for support side carry. When you are fighting to keep your weapon this can be a huge game changer. Love the knife but a non-serrated edge is much easier for most guys to sharpen.

  • |BY: , Very nice knife

Just received the knife today and it is very nice. It has a very hard finish that I'm sure will last for quite awhile. The grip on this thing is amazing and you know it will never slip out of your hands because of how grippy the surface is. Excellent quality and superb packaging to boot. You made a great product Gerber, and thank you in supporting us AD members.

Good knife. Excellent utility for either hand, clip doesn't hamper handling or operation. The scales have that great G10 feel and lockup is crisp. I'm mildly concerned about the locking mechanism and it being under the thumb when doing edge work at the tip, but time will tell if it's valid or not.

I love the blade on this knife... perfect angle. It takes a little getting used to when used in the weak hand.
