We had contractors and warehousemen in mind when we created the Transit utility knife. Inspired by one of our most popular folding knives, we built the Transit with a slim, lightweight, ergonomic handle and liner lock easy-to-open blade. Both sides of the handle are covered with textured rubber for a superior grip in all types of weather. This tip-up clip knife is corrosion resistant. The blade is replaceable with the use of a coin and includes six extra blades with purchase.

Agree with the other negative reviews...why doesn't it work with standard blades that are available everywhere? And that little teensy screw to secure the blade, you better be careful because if you lose that, you're screwed...ha-ha. A coin (dime or penny) does work to remove this tiny screw, contrary to what another reviewer said. In spite of its primary negative, incompatibility with standard blades, this is my favorite utility knife of all the ones I've ever used. I'm giving it two stars because of the blade incompatibility, but I'd give it 4 or 5 if the fixed that oversight.
poor thinking not making the knife use standard blades. but normal for business these days, so sad besuase the knife woulld be the bees wax if it took normal - avalible blades
First major complaint is that it does not take normal razor blades and I could not find any (just look at the regular inventory... did not really search any harder than that cause i should not have needed to). Lucky for me my father had some that his company provides for free that did fit. I am still having an issue with the clip i binds out of shape and ends up not holding to whatever pants I am wearing. Don't recommend this knife just because of those two faults. GET THE EBA POCKET BY GERBER IT IS SOOO MUCH BETTER!!!!
would be perfect if you could use regular contractors blades with it. This takes a slightly shorter blade and holes do not line up with standard blades. I dont understand.... Also i have found no where that carries replacement blades....
the knife won't accept regular blades. and you can't use a coin to change their blades must have small flat head screwdriver. beware!
