I have owned the fine edge version of this knife for the past 7 years, one of the best mini pocket knives I have ever used! It's strong, light and sharp and still works as well as the day I bought it.

I've had one for 6 years but older fine blade version. I use it everyday to open metal buckets and cans! Great knife!

I've had one of these for a several years now, and I love it. I would have given it five star if they still offered the fine edge version.

Great little knife S - JAN 25, 2013
This is easily one of my absolute favourite knives I've ever owned. Incredibly well made and I carry it with me every single day.

It's a great knife, perhaps the best once and a half to have in your pocket. I'd like to see a fixed blade version of this.

Fantastic little blade. Incredible quality in such a tiny package. Easy to open, holds an edge. Clip is handy, but doesn't get in the way. I'm a big fan of the half serrated blade.
Is a bit of a dust magnet, but it's very easy to clean.

Can't Work without It Kirk - OCT 1, 2012
Have it on my work keychain. Always there when I don't have my other knife. People take notice. Could imagine my day without it.

I will join in on the request to put some more straight edges out there. I have one that I have worn out with use over 10 years - best little knife I ever owned - always have it in my pocket as a money clip. A wad of bills folds around the handle while in use and makes it easier to hold. It keeps an edge. The Point of the blade is useful for getting out splinters, etc. If I could find the straight edges, I would buy a few to keep as spares. As it is, I'm thinking of finding a shop to work on this one... Don't know that I can pay a $29 knife a better complement than offering to pay $75 to get it reconditioned. I would also like to see them w/o the black paint. Thinking of sand blasting this one...

BangHard Alright - AUG 17, 2012
It's a nice knife. The only bad thing is that the pivot point has too much tension, so it's really difficult to open

Quality knife Tommy - AUG 15, 2012
It's an excellent knife. The only bad thing is that the serrations sometimes cut my thumb when i open it.

Quality Knife ben - AUG 10, 2012
its a really durable knife, the only down side is that the inner lock isnt covered. So it accidently opens sometimes

I have also recently lost my ridge straight edge that I have had in my pocket for 5+ years and am trying to find a replacement. Should definitely put the straight edge back on the market but for now, I'll just have to get by with the serrated

Love this little knife but it would be more useful to me if it came in a left handed version.

The Ridge black serated/straight edge
knife is one of the handiest little knives I have ever carried. And I have sevral hundred knives, but none fit my hand or are as easy to operate. IT'S MY MONEY CLIP or my pocket knife. The one I have right now is broken. How can I find another?

Great little knife. Have purchased many over the years. I am also having trouble finding more ridge straight edges. They are one heck of a knife and something you people should be very proud of. Don't stop making them.

General Manager Jeff - JAN 1, 2012
I have to agree with Justin about the straight edge. I have carried one for years. The reason I'm on this site, is to try and find another one. Please put the straight edge back in stores.

The ridge knife is one of the best knives I have ever carried. Its a shame they do not sell them in walmart anymore. PLEASE DO NOT STOP MAKING THESE RIDGE KNIVES. I stopped carrying Gerber knives when I got a mini paraframe and was dissapointed in its blade quality and performance. Kershaw leeks and scallions are my knife of choice now, if I could find the Gerber Ridge knife (Straight Edge) in stock any where, I would buy several so when I loose one, I will have another to replace it. It is a great knife, please dont stop making these knives.
