Gator - Clip Point, Serrated

Bought it at Academy in Houston, and it's been rock solid since. Camping, fishing, home repair, you name it, my favorite knife. Years of solid use, blade still intact with no dings. Keeps a great edge.

I got one given to me in high school by a friend I went to school with carried it the rest of the time I was in school . Then I ended up giving it to my neighbor and he carried it five or six years then got something else and just put the knife away in a drawer he liked the fact that it held a razor edge and stayed very sharp for a long time and the fact it was light weight to carry as a every day knife.

I was given this knife, and it quickly became my favorite knife! I love the way the handle feels in my hand, and I can sharpen it easily. Very solid design!

I think the gator is best of all this form of knife's. I own a gator 650 and can not find it on your web site..

I LOVE this knife, but after only two months of owning it, it developed rust spots. It could be a fluke, because my dad has had the non- serrated model since the late 80's and it still looks like he got it yesterday, but mine isn't doing as well.

I have had a Gator since the late 90's. Phenomenal knife! Although my model does not have the serrated blade like this one, I use mine for everything from chopping veggies at camp to skinning bear to field dressing & quartering a moose. In fact I just field dressed and quartered a moose without needing to re-sharpen it once and it maintained it's edge like you wouldn't believe. I measure the quality of a knife by how it maintains an edge and this is the top of the line if you ask me!

I have had mine for over a decade! I use it as my everyday carry knife...at work in the aircraft industry...at home for projects...even in the woods for hunting and fishing. I fell in love with it when I first held it and still love it as much today! Best money I ever spent!

This is the best knife I've owned to date (used ~10 years) & I bought a back up when it was on sale (I'm 55). Sticks to your hand in the worst slippery conditions, stays sharp, tip hasn't deformed cutting broad heads out of wood, very sharp point for removing slivers & thorns & serrated edge is great for clearing shooting lanes. I rate this as close to perfection for a general purpose hunting, fishing & backwoods knife. The newer sheath seems a bit stiffer & thicker which is also great & has never accidentally opened.

I bought my knife in 1992. It has traveled with me all over the world. I took it with me on all my Army travels and other over seas work travels. I love and never leave my knife at home. I would love to find a new sheath to protect it and keep it with me.

I have had my Gator for quite a few years. I never leave home with out it when I go camping. Great knife!

I bought this knife for while I was in Afghanistan, and was amazed by its quality. Damn good knife. I arced it on a 24vdc terminal working on a generator, and it melted a small divet into the blade, which would have happened to any blade, and does not detract from the quality of the knife itself. I still use it to this day.

my father has owned this knife for as long as i can remember and he loved it and recently he gave it to me and i love it. it is by far my favorite knife in my collection i will be getting a new one soon

i bought this knife in 1993 and it has yet to let me down. I also have the Mark II that I have had since 1994.

i got this knife from my dad. love the rubber grip and razor sharp blade. the velcro on the sheath seems to be wearing down though. other than that, no complaints from me

I keep this in my emergency kit in my car. I know I can count on it when I need it. The handle is very comfortable and I love the material. I know that I can have a sure grip.

i bought my first gator 10 years ago it was an awsome knife but after all these years it was finaly time to buy a gator serrated i love these knives !

This was my favorite knife I could jump with. I was looking for a fixed blade knife I could jump with and wanted the Gater handle with a metal or hard plastic sheath so this was my choice as for it did not exist at the time. It lasted me 4 years. Then it was stolen now I have the Second version of this with the cutting hook with it!

Had one for years and lost it during a move. I immediately replaced it with the same model. Great knife!

I like the rubarized grip for wet weather. I also like how sharp the knife is and the edge it holds. I highly recomend this knife!

I highly recommend this knife for anyone who either camps or uses a knife for working purposes. very reliable, fits in your hand very comfortably even with work gloves on. Also I have had mine for 7 years and have only had to sharpen it twice. great workmanship and quality.

The overall design is very practical for most applications. The rubberized handle allows for a secure and comfortable grip. The blade is very sharp right from the factory. No problems cutting through a seat belt. The carrying pouch with both vertical loops and a horizontal loop allow options for securing. I keep the included cleaning hook in a separate pouch on my vest just in case I can't get to my gator and need to cut a seat belt or some cord. I had one of these in the 90's and bought another. They were great then and they are just as good now. To sum it up, this knife is practical and efficient.

I was issued my Gerber Knife in 2005 by the U.S. Army, it is the last knife I will ever own. Since 2005 I have stock piled 3 more model # 06069. I hope Gerber realizes how awesome this knife really is, Good Job Gerber!!

Great folder. In saw it in the hardware store and had to have it. Now it's my every day carry. A bit big for that, but not too big. Perfect handle, perfect amount of steel.

best knife i have ever owned!! period got one in military someone stole it thank god i got another one, the grip is ergonomically the most comfortable hold. it also is extremely sturdy i beat the crap out of my first one i mean used it as a hammer used it as prying bar used it as screw driver and it never broke was so upset when it got jacked.. i think it is very versatile as well. highly highly suggest this knife

I bought this knife four years ago. Whether it's a hiking through New Zealand, running around Afghanistan or a field training exercise this knife has always been on my hip and always dependable. Best knife I own.

A great knife. I bought this knife back in 1999 and have always considered it to be one of the best knives I own, as sterdy as the day i bought it, used regularly, it is light, strong and will grip when wet and dirty. It is always on my belt. Recomended.
