So, I bought three of these. Both the all metal and plastic versions. Love the look. Really nice. A couple of nits... they are too heavy I think... and the thumb lift is too rough... gave me a callus from opening. Otherwise great knife... would recommend.

While I love the look, feel, locking mechanism and the blade of the knife. The screw on the Ambidextrous thumb lift failed within a month of purchase under light duty, only used a couple of times every few days. Without the thumb lift there is no safe way to open the blade.

Suggest the thumb lift to be a welded item or placed so it is slotted into the blade to alleviate the opening force to be on the blade and not the small screw.
