My wife bought this for me as a gift and it is slick. The handle is super nice and the blade style is really classic.
I don't usually love liner locks but this one operates really well and makes using the knife with one hand really easy.
The thumb stud is a little hard to use sometimes, but feels good in the pocket and works well with left or right hand.
I absolutely love the way it sits in the pocket, the clip is perfect too.
All around awesome...
Over all the knife is beautiful but not a fan of liner locks
Knife is balanced, looks great and feels great, but the pivot bolt is tiny! Blade got a slight wobble so I tried to tighten it down. Because it takes a TINY torx and was installed with Loctite, the bolt head stripped out (I wasn't muscling it, either...)
Everything else indicates that this knife should last, but please consider this in the next generation!
Looking thru all the knives I've collected, nothing has held up like my Gerber "Guardian" double edged, made in italy, so i went to look for the perfect folding knife, i could carry, and hand down to the Grandson one day. And i found it in the Gerber Micarta 39 series, 2015 .Gerber has perfected the baddest knife on the Block! It's tough, Razor sharp, nice weight and quick to open if needed in a pinch! has some interesting bells and whistles and the Blade is menacing, as well as beautifully crafted. if your lookin for that knife to last. This is it.
perfect edc knife----great steel ,perfect size---new everyday knife
Should think about making this in a flipper.
Bought this item on recommendation from sales person. He said that he was to buy a knife in this price range this would be the one he would buy and actully did puchase pulled his out of his pocket.. This I think for most people that shop is nothing new to hear. However this person works in one of the largest knife store in the US and could of sold me anything else in the store. I know we walked by several displays to get to this one. Enough said about that. I love the knife. Stays sharp, easy to carry, and very well made.
