Probe shallow. Probe deep. Probe as conditions dictate with the Basic or Deluxe Mine Kit Probe Kit. Engineered from titanium and sensitive enough to transmit even the lightest contact, these kits are built to perform in the most sensitive of tasks.
Probe shallow. Probe deep. Probe as circumstances dictate with either Basic Mine Probe Kit or the Deluxe version. The shafts are engineered from titanium, combine for an overall length of 25 inches and are sensitive enough to transmit even the lightest contact. The interchangeable probing tips are made of Delrin, a non-conductive material. The Deluxe version includes the D.E.T. Mutli-Plier and Infinity Ultra Task Light. Both kits come complete with a black ballistic MOLLE compatible nylon sheath.
For those that want a non-metallic mine probe - learn how to use the tool and use the correct tips. I've used this in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Iraq, Mali, Pakistan and Vietnam - works well if you know what you are doing.
So.... you do know there are nylon tips in the kit. They are about 1 inch long. If you use the correct technique you shouldn't complete any circuits.
This really need to be made out of polycarbonate or other resin. No metal. When I've probed for mines (and I have), everything metal comes off even watches and rings. Military mine probes are fiberglass for just than reason.
Guys, us survivalists or preppers might want to get this too!!! I gave this one star until you let us have it too!!!
Need to make a plastic version. Titanium would complete the circuit if probing certain threats (ie: pressure plate).
