FliK Multi-Plier - Needlenose, Black
With its twelve beefy tools accessed in outboard mode, the professional grade Flik multi-tool gives itself quite an edge. It’s a member of a series of one-handed opening Gerber multi-tools used heavily by the US military. Thanks to the success of the MP600 series, Gerber has supplied more knives and tools to the US military than any other brand.
NEGOTIATE OBSTACLES WITH EASE
This industrial-strength tool’s needle nose pliers serve personnel who require a precise point that can grab fine elements in small spaces, while its one-handed open simplifies the task of clearing stubborn weapon malfunctions. In addition, it contains a brawny saw, a serrated blade knife, and a fine edge knife, each of which can take on a multitude of cutting and sawing tasks, making the Flik more than sufficient as the sole tool needed in a go bag or general purpose tool kit.
TOOLS WITH TEETH
Constructed of hardy stainless steel and coated in no-glint black oxide for reduced visual signature, the Flik’s heavy duty tools take on a wealth of tough tasks without complaint. Along with the saw and serrated and fine edge blades, it holds a Phillips driver, three separate sizes of flat heads, a file, a built-in ruler, a lanyard ring, and a can and bottle opener, all of which lock in place for safe application. It even provides an opening assist mechanism for the smaller tools. This do-it-all multi-tool reliably serves its operator in negotiating obstacles regardless of location.

it's ok but my large flat head driver broke then the spring in my sissors broke kinda sucks now it's just collecting dust how do I get replacement parts?I could fix it myself
When I first saw this multi tool, I thought "cool, I can open this one handed" but then after holding it and giving it a look over I started to see some downfalls. First it opens good one handed but you have to hold it open to close it properly. Next, the serrated edge doesn't seem to be sharp enough to cut through a piece of string. I can literally rub my finger back and forth without a scratch. And finally, all the screwdriver bits are really small. They do not look like they can have a lot of pressure put on them. In the end it looks cool, but quality is missing.
Love the tool, but the sheath is absolute garbage, fell apart within two weeks of purchase and had to start hunting for a sturdier sheath.
I keep this tool with me on all jobs, I'm a finish and stage carpenter. So when I don't have a specific tool nearby, I reach for my Flik. I've had it for a couple years now and the blades are still pretty sharp, but the downside is there is no file - not even on the side of a blade or anything - which is strange for a multi tool. The scissors have come in handy on several occasions, but unfortunately the metal spring that pushes the blades apart got bent somehow and now the scissors are basically useless. :( I might be making the ever-dreaded switch to Leatherman.
I was a gunner in Iraq in 08-09 and we were issued one. So handy for assembling/disassembling weapons. Tight at first loosens up after some use. Wish I had another.
I have had this tool for 7 years and has not broken on me yet only one niche on the blade and a few scratches but nothing else a wonderful tool.
Damn near every multitool/blade I own is Gerber. This recent Flik has questioned my loyalty. I was skeptic before I opened the box. Made in CHINA. And the quality shows it. The innovation is there, but doesn't hold a candle to my older Multitools with USA down the side. I've had one for 10 years, and its still rock solid. Some of the tools on the Flik flop out, just feels flimsy compared to those of old. Bring the production back home. Disappointed.
This tool is great for everyday use. I carry it with me everywhere I go. I love this multitool, it's one of the best I've ever had. I've had it for about a year now, and it hasn't failed me once.
I've had this tool for over 2 years and only one problem that barely affected performance. the best tool I've eve used.
There's so many great things to say about the Flik I wouldn't know where to start. The one-handed access of the larger tools is a flawless design, not only can you access the blades smoothly but your saw and scissors are smooth sailing to access as well. The
