These are great and proven reliable. I have used these in wet, cold conditions to make access through thick vines and scrub. Great product and easily maintained.

These pruners are great and easily maintained in the field. I often enter into thick and dense bush and rely heavily of these to cut through supple jack and other thick vines. Another great quality piece of kit. Thank you Gerber!

I use these for SAR work and hunting/hiking off track. Often, when needing to enter into thick dnese bush to recover and rescure individuals you need to cut through vines and climb over dead fall. These Gerber pruners cutt through supple jack well and are easily maintained (bit of oil after use and a tighten of nutts and screws every six months or so). I especially like how the cutting blade can be removed and sharpend! Another GRERAT product gerber. Cheers, Hadley.

Very disappointed w/ these pruners. While cutting small vines bolt/screw that connects the two halves came out and pruners fell apart. Was unable to locate bolt/screw and spring between handles. Gerbers customer service was not very helpful. I had the option of shipping pruners back to Gerber at my expense which would be about the same $ as buying a new pair. Poor experience all around. Gerber products will not be high on my list of outdoor products.
