A sleek combination of tactical styling and everyday carry features, this knife is stripped down to the bare essentials. The ultra-light G-10 handle is dependable in any condition, the finger flip opening is speedy, and the drop point blade never fails.
As the saying goes, the best knife is the one you’ve got with you. Make sure your go-to blade is the kind of reliable companion who can help when things get dicey. A sleek combination of tactical styling and solid daily carry features, the Gerber Counterpart lives up to its name as a knife that’s there when you need it.
Whether for small cutting tasks or more serious business, the ultra light, deeply textured G-10 handle holds fast in wet conditions, while the fingerflip opening offers fast, one-handed deployment of the drop point blade, so you can get to work with ease and speed. With nothing extra in the way, the Counterpart is stripped down to the rugged essentials.
LIGHTWEIGHT DOES NOT MEAN LIGHT DUTY
The Counterpart’s design is simplicity in the service of performance, eliminating any unnecessary details to keep things clean and ready to go. The G-10 handle creates a super light body that’s impervious to rust and corrosion, resists temperature change, and doesn’t get slippery when wet. The matte black finish lends a stealth, tactical look to both handle and blade, adding up to a super low-profile knife that sits lightly and naturally in your hand, ready for use at a moment’s notice.
LITTLE THINGS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
The Counterpart’s Finger Flip system allows for easy, fast one-handed opening, when speed is crucial. An integrated fingerguard delivers added grip when cutting, while the Liner Lock mechanism holds the blade in place, requiring a simple and efficient one-handed engagement to release. At 3.3 ounces, it’s got enough heft to offer balance in the hand, while still disappearing when it’s carried.
A removable pocket clip lets you carry the knife easily in your pocket, or secure it to a bag for easy access.
Was my edc till I broke the tip while gutting a rabbit
I carry this bad boy everywhere, plus it has a slick look to it. Very much recommend.
This is my general carry around do all knife. Nice design, weight and feel. Blade sharpens to a razor's edge and holds that edge well. With a tiny adjustment of the torx screw it will open seamlessly just with a wrist flick. Overall a great everyday tool.
overall good knife. Very sharp blade and the handle is one of the best ive ever seen. Beware though that the tip of the blade can bend rather easily compared to other knives. But overall is a good knife.
I love the design of the knife but have complaints about the G10. I ordered 2 for Christmas and both arrived with white stained G10 (probally due from sanding the insertes on the G10). Unable to get white staining off. Only complaint.
Good size, good finish, good feel in hand, easy open after a little adjustment with Torx. Not sure clip is really meant to come off - part of blade tension system. Don't really care, though...
Did just a little bit of casual dressing on the blade with a small Arkansas stone, followed with a steel to draw the edge. Rewarded with a nice slice when careless shaving with it. Oops! IOW, very nice edge. LOL.
best knife so far ive had lots of gerber knifes including the evo but the counterpart is the best so far love the finger flip. they need to come out with more knifes with the finger flip i wont get one with out it.
stop reading the comments and just get it it will be the best knife you ever got
Amazing product. super sharp out of the box. This is the best 20 to 30 dollar knife I have ever bought. Absolutely amazing bang for your buck!
Absolutely wonderful product. Possibly the best $20 knife I've ever purchased. Razor sharp factory edge. I took it to work, put it through the rigors of boxes and rope and cord. At the end of the day it still was hair shaving sharp. And if you have a good sharpening system the edge you can get is just ridiculous.
Nice ergonomics, great grip on the handle. Blade flips open just a bit stiff, but it became a dream after I oiled it up. Pocket clip is simple and posed no issues.
Like i said, definitely a steal for the price. If you collect knives, it would be foolish not to get this one. And if you're just looking for that one everyday knife that won't let you down or break your bank, this is it. Stop reading this and get one.
