This ultra-light self-defense knife has a customizable sheath system that offers low profile or open carry. The fine edge blade is made of durable 420HC steel, a compact skeletal frame keeps it light in hand, and a rubber overmold gives optimal grip.
Discretion is of the utmost importance for those who serve as first responders, on the battlefield, or in any tactical situation. Being able to keep your knife on hand at all times can often mean the difference between life and death, a fact that was not lost on Gerber when designing the Ghostrike collection.
The option for concealed carry lies at the heart of the design - the knives are lightweight, easy to access, and the slim profiles allow for discreet transport in pocket, belt, boot, or around the neck.
Always prepared, the Ghostrike collection is on hand and ready at a moment’s notice.
I purchased a ghost strike fixed blade knife with ankle wrap. I love the knife, and being able to carry with the ankle wrap. I purchased the complete kit just a few months ago, and the Velcro and hook portion of the ankle wrap is already worn out, because I wear the knife every day. I'm very disappointed that the ankle wrap only lasted this amount of time,it will no longer stay secured on my ankle area.is there a possibility to purchase the ankle wrap only.
Thank you ,
This is a great little knife. I love all of the carrying options. Very comfortable and light when used with the ankle mounted sheath. I am anxious to see the maintenance routine in keeping the screws secure.
This is a great EDC knife. I carry it horizontally in the 6 o' clock position. It fits so well when concealed that I often forget it is there.
I've bought one of the ghoststrike. I live in Salem, Oregon
is it legal to carry this concealed?
I'll start off by saying this is a great knife for anyone to carry. The best features are hands down the size, weight, and carrying options if you want a knife you can take everywhere this is the one. My only complaints are that the grip is a little to small for certain tasks and the blade doesn't come razor sharp from the factory but as an overall package gerber really delivered with this knife and I personally carry it every day.
Worth every penny
Great multi perpose knive for any daily outdoor activities and it is extremely comfortable and it keeps a low profile
Ghoststrike has correctly landed. I got this for rides on mountain-bike when, in the middle of nowhere, you are in front of a friendly big black dog which is barfing at you between its cute white teeth with a nice glance for your calfs . I feel a little bit secure. Light to carry and easy to catch. (y)
Solid knife. Bad ankle brace
not bad still cool i like how you can carry it on ur belt or lage nice job gerber
The knife itself is great and the sheath is good quality and offers good retention. I got this for days that I work on the ambulance and figured it would be a good EDC back-up. It is great when I wear low cut boots or shoes. But the ankle wrap will not fit around my boots. It is very snug when worn with just my ankle and sock. Just for reference I am 6'4 and weigh 250. I gave it three starts due to the quality of knife and sheath, and I still can use it EDC'ing and I have other plans for it. Moral of the story if you are a full sized guy and want to wear this with boots it wont work out to well.
Let me start by saying that Gerber makes some awesome gear. This ankle wrap just happens to NOT be one of them. The knife itself is solid and the retention on the sheath is one of the best there is on the market. The only problem I have with this setup is the actual ankle wrap. I am a fit 220lbs and the wrap doesn't fit around my ankle. I had originally purchased it to go over my boot, but seeing as how I can't even fit the wrap around my bare ankle defeats the purpose of the wrap. It's a great idea that was poorly executed.
This is a well thought-out package that serves the needs of everyone from the foot patrol officer to the undercover bicyclist.
Great knife, I hope they come out wit future blades that take this same concept and have more options and features...maybe even better steel like S30V.
I always carry a blade some where on my body. This is just a great blade with an easy sheath. Light weight and out of the way until needed. Easy converts to be used with a belt. I am now wanting to find some thing to be able to wear it on the upper arm.
I've been carrying this knife horizontally for a couple of weeks, and if you're concealing as I am, then as long as your T-shirt isn't too short, then you shouldn't have to worry about it coming uncovered. The only reason this knife should be pulled, in my opinion, is for self defense. If you use this knife often for opening boxes, or attacking Pringles cans, then your most likely going to wear out the diamond texture, and lose that extra grip. (you may not, but all the other rubber I've ever seen wears out) If you want an everyday cheaper carry knife, that isn't weighing down your pockets, get the BG folding sheath knife.
I've actually only worn the ankle wrap once (mostly because it's just now fall, and I live in Alabama), and it was pretty comfortable. Overall, Some might find 60 bucks (what I paid) expensive for a knife, but in my opinion, it isn't bad for a reliable tactical knife. I hope so, anyway. Gerber's yet to let me down. If you aren't interested in the ankle wrap, hit the back button, and get the "Ghostrike Fixed Blade".
I would recommend this knife for anybody wanting a concealed, or open carry knife, or a smaller boot knife.
Check your local concealed weapons laws, and knife laws!
The knives i have purchase from you guys that are made in the US are hands down some of the best blades i have handled. The ones made overseas are garbage and fall apart way to easy. I love the Gerber line of knives, but if it isn't made in the US its not worth even getting excited over. Keep them coming out of Portland, OR!!!
